Hello August!!!
A few days too late, buy not THAT late, right? Been busy with Baby Boy's birthday party (can you believe this lazy-ass actually attempted a DIY birthday party? Well, i did! Blog post coming *hopefully* soon!) and all the preparations so i didn't have time to blog. I really hate neglecting my blog for more than a few days when i'm actually around (obsessive much?) so i decided to do a post that can be done the quickest : outfit post!
This is actually the outfit i wore for my niece Au's Sweet 17 party :
Hunny commented that i looked like some comic book's character (Black Widow-which is confusing because doesn't she always wear that catsuit?) with my two-toned hair curled and all black ensemble plus heels sashaying my way to the car *LOL*, i personally think i look for like a villain. As for the title... LOL, i only think it's so catchy, very naughty of course-and nope, i don't do S&M don't worry (eh, why should you worry anyway? My hunny should hahaha), it's just a title lah okay, i like weird titles i think they're attention-grabbing so please don't read too deep into nothing!
Anyway. FOTD first :
Hm. Not bad for something i slapped on for 15 minutes (and so proud of myself to actually stick the friggin' falsies at speedy time when i totally lost my eyelash clip *found it now!*), no? I usually would take my time (because i enjoy the process of dolling up, it's therapeutic-even with the frustration over falsies #myweakness haha) putting my makeup for special events, especially for something as important as my own niece's sweet 17!
Problem was i totally underestimated the time i had to spend at a hair salon to get my hair done (i only asked for a curl T.T and it took over two hours T.T, not to get it done-NO. It was probably half an hour, the rest 1.5 hour was spent waiting to be tended because it was a Saturday and everybody seemed to decided to throw all kinds of parties that day so every aunties and their daughters were there zzzz) so by the time i was home, it was past the time when we were supposed to be leaving (because family must come super early and all) so i frantically slap slap slap everything on my face *cries*.
Anyway! I think i look decent! Even in the professional photographs taken by the photogs my makeup looks good *ahem*.

I...errr... Normally would wear a brand new lipstick for every occassion that's even slightly important *gulp*, but i was so busy and rushed i didn't even have time to pick the new lipstick from my ridiculous stash. I really wanted to wear a very bright, Barbie pink for some reasons so i mixed the L.A Colors lipstick (which is very neon but the shade's a bit too sweet for the look i was going for) and Nature Republic (which is a bit too dark than the shade i wanted)-mixing the two together did manage to create the color that i had in mind, it's very pink, very bright and loud enough to stand out.
Sadly the photos (which i took in the car at 5 P.M because i i didn't even have time to snap a decent FOTD in my walk-in closet like usual) couldn't show the true color of the shade (the outfit snaps showed a more true color of it!)...

| Yep, my hair has faded into a more pastel pink, very cotton candy in this pic hahaha. It has faded even more now (but i have prepared a fresh hair dye so i will have bright ombre again soon!) Btw L, i did not appreciate the Mulan Kwok comment you made about my hair, you wanna die or something? |

Sadly i didn't go anywhere or wear anything nice enough for an outfit post while my ombre was still new and very bright pink! ZZZ. Should make the effort but you know lah...

| It was taken in the venue's separate room that was functioned as that night's disco time area-before the actual disco time of course! Unfortunately there were a lot of staffs (from the lighting/decor i guess) and they were blatantly staring at me while i attempted to get some nice pics-hence the stiffs, monotonous poses zzzz. So sad because i love how the pics turns out, the wall... the balloons... the light (we did requested them to change the light from blue to this warm yellow so the mas2 were not that useless hahaha). Sigh. Should grow a thicker skin or something |

| Can you tell that i was actually layering a (crop) lace top under a dress? Haha. Not going to flash my arms, i got enough fat jokes that night (from two b**ches who are not exactly model material themselves grrrr. I don't understand girls who make fat jokes to other girls, do they seriously think it's funny? Problem is, they're around the same (or bigger) size as me, would they find it as hilarious if i retaliate?) being covered up as i was |

| I had no idea what to wear to Au's party but then i stumbled into this perfect dress in H&M (in Somerset, Singapore), it's totally beautiful! Made from chiffon, tulle and sequins. It's not very clear in the pictures, but the inner part (with bodycon-skirt) is full of sequins that look like mermaid's scales (the centre part of the chest area's also covered in the same sequins. Then a few days before the actual D Day i found the perfect lace cropped top in GM (it's just Magnolia!) to pair it with so it was fate! |

| Speaking of fat, i was actually in-between sizes for this dress *sigh*, totally story of my life. The S size fits like a glove, a bit too fit that i almost ripped the skirt when i took it off! So i went for the M-which is HUGE and i have so much movement space in it-not in a good way! It made me look waist-less and wider than i already am, but of course it can always be fixed with my fave ever obi! |

Oh yeah, the dress code was black (mostly for the birthday girl's friends, but i prefer to stick to dresscodes because it makes it much easier to narrow down what to wear anyway) and #Undecided (who's invited with her hubby and accompanied me most of the night getting eaten alive by the ravenous mosquitos) also wore a black dress so of course we had to snap an outfit pic together. She arrived super late (so much for helping out BB @___@!!!) so we couldn't snap a pic in the disco venue but this will do!
