Enjoying your weekend? This week feels like a never ending weekend for us Indonesian (what with public holidays every other day in the whole week) but can't say we're tired of it, i guess!

Anyway, after almost a full year of subscribing to Lola Box (missing only about one or two boxes in their entire existence), i finally collected enough Lola Dots to be exchanged into a complimentary box. And after waiting for what feels like the longest time (it took more than 3 weeks after the initial time they promised my box to arrive, to a point that i almost gave up and consider it missing/never going to reach me), i finally received it :

It also become my farewell box because out of nowhere Lola Box announced they're closing down! I was pretty shocked when some of my readers informed me about this (i had no idea before) but i did see the signs when their subscriptions were closed and couldn't be accessed the last couple of months.

Hmmm, yeah, i totally am wondering why? They seemed to be doing so well and all.. It's too bad since Lola Box is definitely one of the best (and the most solid/consistent) beauty boxes subscriptions that's ever graced Indonesia! Alas, none of Indonesian beauty boxes (except Vanity Trove that also has bases in Singapore and Malaysia so i guess it's a different case altogether) lasts more than a year. Is Indonesian market simply not ready for this concept? If you say they might not sell so well, i'm gonna have to to disagree since they ALWAYS sold their boxes out long before their closing date! So i believe there're other, more complicated problems. *Sigh*. Let us Indonesian beauty junkies mourn the death of yet another beauty box first hehe...

But for now, time to inspect the contents of this farewell box!

Acnes Tea Tree Oil Clay Mask (50 g)

I'm a huge fan of Acnes (read my review on their oil control face mask here. I am also a loyal user of their facial wash, acne sealing gel, powder lotion, tinted moisturizer, compact powder, etc! I will definitely try to review everything, i just need to get my mojo back first. I've been very lazy when it comes to blogging, especially on writing reviews *SIGH* i dunno why!) so i'm pretty happy to get this mask. I never bothered with masks that you need to wash off and might never purchase this for myself, so it's nice to get this full sized tube of mask that i will definitely give a try soon. Acnes masks (the sheet kinds, at least) has always been my trusted companions around THAT time of the month!

Skin 79 Super+ Triple Function Hot Pink Label BB Cream (deluxe size, no idea of the actual size)

I think this is like the 4th or 5th time i get this hot pink BB Cream from Skin 79 from beauty boxes, certainly a popular item in beauty box world *LOL*. Good thing that this BB Cream suits me well so i'm not complaining!

Decorative Eyelash in Play Rich #1 (5 pairs)

I do love collecting falsies now (what a way to swallowed back my words, eh? LOL) even though i don't wear them often... I do like to wear them to parties (when i can be bothered to..) to make my eyes look more dramatic... I don't think i have crisscrossed falsies before, and again-it's not something that i would purchase for myself (i don't think i like crisscrossed falsies, but then again i've never tried them before hahaha) so it's good that i get try something i would never do otherwise. And 5 pairs, this will last me plenty of parties!

Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Perfume (Vial, 12ml)

A sample of a perfume that i already know i like! I am obsessed about celebrity perfumes (even though i don't usually like the celebrity *LOL*, Taylor Swift is okay tho) and i've put Wonderstruck on my wishlist mainly because of the bottle >.<, but i sniffed it before and i liked it a lot! It's nice to get to use this perfume before i purchase the full size (so i'll know if i REALLY like the scent, not just for a few seconds but for as long as it lasts).

Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Gingerbread (Full size)

My favorite item (other than the falsies) in this box! Of course, you should already know by now that i am a crazy lip balm collector and nothing makes me happier than drowning in my crazy collection of lip balms... And from a brand that i've been dying to try (but couldn't justify to actually go and order since i have enough lip balms to last me more than a lifetime WTF) too! I remembered Lola Box featured this lip balm in one of those rare boxes that i missed and was just jealous of the lip balm (and nothing else), so i'm very stoked that i get this!

Skin Junkie Soap

No indications of the size, but it's tiny! The length is about the same as my thumb while the thickness is about twice of my thumb

This is the third Skin Junkie soap i've got from beauty boxes (and no, i haven't tried any of them *LOL*) but i think it's certainly the smallest one. I'm feeling neutral about this one, not too happy but certainly not annoyed too.

L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil (5 sachets)

Heard so many people raving about this oil that i actually already went and purchase the full size myself, still it's nice to have these sachet ones to bring on travels!

And that's all! A very nice box indeed and a sweet goodbye from Lola Box. I'm wishing Lola Box' team all the best for their future career and whatever life might bring them. We're gonna miss you so BAD!

Unboxing : Lola Box Anniversary Edition

It doesn't take me long to get back in the Beauty Box train, eh?

I don't have any good explanation about this except that it's Lola Box' Anniversary box! So... It should be special, right? Plus they were having a special price for this box, IDR 111.000 (coz it's their first anniversary, duh! I hope it'd be 112 on the second anniversary instead of 222! LOL). I figured, an anniversary box with a cheaper price... that means a great deal! I cannot miss it! Hehehe... (It's also a way for me to show them that i meant every words when i said i will keep on supporting them because i actually do have a lot of faith in them. They offered me some real great gestures, i thought it'd only be right if i do the same)

And it is a pretty awesome box!

It doesn't look very colorful or exceptionally merry, but the individual items were pretty great!

Before i got my box, i read Winda's tweet to Lola Box about a broken eye shadow. I knew right away that i'm getting an eye shadow too and i dunno, i did have a feeling it'd be broken too (because of past experiences. Whenever someone mentioned a broken item in a beauty box, mine would arrive in the same condition-if not worse! And this time's sadly no exception...) pfffftttt. So i was waiting for my box to arrive, very anxiously...

I told hunny about Winda's broken eye shadow, and he told me he could hear rattling inside the box. Loud rattling is never a good sign in a beauty box T.T

The box is definitely heavier than usual!

Some vouchers, i didn't pay attention to the surprise card from Luxola at first, but it was a very nice surprise indeed! I was also very surprised to see Me-Nail's card included in this box. As you may know, i am related to the owner of Me-Nail (read my introduction to Me-Nail here) but don't worry, i will not let anything cloud my judgement and review it fairly

First thing i that i saw when i unwrap the wrapping paper was the lavender colored bottle and i was pretty happy because i always wanted to try Cottage shower gels (let's hope that it'd work better than Original Source on my skin!) but was bitter about the awesome launch in Jakarta (seriously, Surabaya beauty bloggers can't complain enough of the lack of launches here haha) :p. I already got a small bottle in January Lola Box but this is the middle size okay :D

First item : Lolita Lempicka The First Fragrance

I've always loved Lolita Lempicka's bottle but i think i didn't like the way it smelt (or i'm sure i'd have it in my collection already *sigh*), i'll try again with this little vial. I gotta feature an inner part of this sample's card because it's so pretty! The little vial's also cuter than usual for me because of its violet color!

Leaders Insolution Derma Soul Bright Mask. This is a pretty pricey mask (around IDR 36.000 if i'm not mistaken) compared to the usual local/Korean sheet masks, i purchased one from Luxola when it was on a huge sale but don't think i'd purchase this on a full price, so this is a great item to be found in a beauty box! The price of this one sheet mask covers more than quarter price of the box! (OH, i just checked, Lola Box stated the price is IDR 26.100. This is another great sign, they definitely do not jack up the price just to make the items appear more expensive than they really were like some beauty boxes tend to do *AHEM BTI, AHEM AHEM IBBox*)

Cottage Showel Gel (250 ml) in Fig. While i am very happy to receive this shower gel (i think i am always happy whenever i see a full sized product *sigh*), i am not too happy about the variant. I am not a fan of fig's scent, but at least the bottle's violet! LOL. Worth IDR 58.500 (half of the box' price!)

The Face Shop Real Nature Mask Pomegranate (IDR 20.350). Two sheet masks in one box? I am a huge sheet mask junkie so i don't mind, not every subscriber would be happy about it though. The variant that i got is one that i already tried not too long ago, it was pretty nice so i'm pretty happy to get this.

No product description found, it just stated that it was from Me-Nail. WTH is that???

Like i said, i'm not gonna sugar coat anything here (when do i ever?). I am not entirely happy with it *LOL*. And i know for a fact a few other receiver weren't too thrilled about it either and they told me. Now, i know this might be a filler/bonus item, but still... I kept on thinking whether or not i should voice my concern to L (the lady boss), but i also know she also doesn't personally tend to collaborations/sponsorship/etc regarding Me-Nail. She reads this blog sometimes though , so i hope she reads this and she can get this message without me having to really tell her in person *LOL*.

I know that Me-Nail positions themselves as a nail decorator supplier in this case, it's just that... I think dried flowers is not that dummy proof. I for once, don't know how to use it and even if i ever want to (i'm not much of a nail artists, you see...). If they want to feature a small nail decor, i'd much prefer nail stickers, or diamente, or studs, or pearls, or whatever. Just not this. LOL. This is my least favorite item in this box and if it's not there i wouldn't even bat an eyelash.

(UPDATE : I just read another blogger's unboxing post and she got nail stickers. So i think they gave out random nail stuffs, me and Winda are just unfortunate enough to get dried flowers T.T)

Make Over Re-fill Eye Shadow Palette. So even before i unwrapped the paper wrap, i fished for a stray eye shadow on the side and checked on the condition of the eye shadow. It's smashed to dusts (*hear my heart cracks in two? LOL*). I was disheartened already. Then i went through the other items, and found ANOTHER eye shadow! I was like "They gave out two eye shadows???", checked it-and it's BROKEN as well. I almost yell out in frustration *LOL*. Then i saw YET ANOTHER ONE! WOW! If only they arrived in tip top condition, i would be overjoyed! Those eye shadow refill's worth IDR 41.500 each

Anyway, i contacted them about the broken eye shadows and they replied :

We are aware that a few of our members have received broken eyeshadows and we are just as upset about it as you. This time we wanted the shipping company to take special care, that's why we have informed them about fragile products. That's the reason why there's a 'Mudah Pecah' warning sticker on the package.

As you understand, Lolabox and Make Over want to deal with this issue as quickly as possible - so we ask for your help on this one.

To file a complaint we need two things:

A picture of the plastic wrapping with the 'FRAGILE' sticker (You probably have thrown it away already, but if you still have it, this will help us a lot - otherwise it's also no big deal.)
Please also send back the broken eyeshadow, as the shipping company needs them for physical proof and for reporting reasons

The process might be quite lengthy (30-45 days), but we will try to speed up things as much as we can.

We know that this doesn't sound optimal, but in this case we are experiencing 'damage' as well.

Once again, we hope you accept our apologies and are keen on working on this together.

Well, i had no problem to their first request, but the second one... First of all, the eye shadow's totally broken to dusts and my fingers were totally blue and gold just by touching their outer box *LOL* and i decided to remove the dusts into other containers so i won't waste anymore of them. I already threw out the boxes and all, so i don't think it's possible for me to send it back anyway. Second of all, like the said, it might take 30-45 days? Oh no, i don't feel like going through the hassle! It's still usable anyway, i'll just use it as eye pigments *LOL*.

While i am not happy about this, i also cannot blame Lola Box too much. It's the courrier that should be responsible for it but really... JNE? I don't think you can expect too much from them. Lola Box could, however, minimalized the damage in the first place by bubble wrapping the eye shadows to prevent them from breaking. I know they might be concerned about the aesthetic, but really... I'm sure i'm speaking on behalf of the subscribers by saying that we'll take a little less pretty packaging rather than receiving broken items. You know what i'm saying?

Still, it's awesome that they'd feature THREE eye shadows in one box, it's literally unheard of! I can't help but think if they gave out three different make up items (maybe a blusher and a lipstick instead of three eye shadows) it'd be even more fantastic! I mean... Not everybody wears eye shadow, you know? I know some girls who are addicted to lipsticks (or blushers) and aren't necessarily crazy about eye shadow. This box is amazing for an eye shadow lover (or beauty junkies in general), but maybe not so much for those who are less enthusiastic about eye shadows.

Anyway, the list stops until the Make Over eye shadows (Btw, their new catalog? Isn't it a real work of art? So pretty!!! I love it! And looks as professional as any international brand! Proud of local products now getting better and better in terms on packaging and promotions! The quality's been pretty great as well!) but i still got a few more items :

Sachet samples : The Face Shop Natural Sun Cream and Rich Water Cleansing Foam. Nice bonuses! OHHH I TOTALLY forgot to take picture of the Face Shop's CC Cream sachet sample! Apologies!

It's a surprise full sized product from Luxola, i got a Smith's Rosebud Salve Lip Balm! I am crazy about lip balms and i am always attracted to Rosebud Salves, i kept on almost buying them (in bulk. You know, the tins with three balms in them) in Sephora and in flights, but they're pricier than most lip balms i use (i use cheap and cute ones haha, but i do have hundreds of them so it's totally ironic, isn't it?) so i decided i didn't need them (refer to earlier line). I buckled and bought one in Taiwan, but i welcome this whole-heartedly! So happy that i got a different variant than the one i already have! Dare i say this is my favorite item in the box (even though it wasn't even in the list)? No? But it is! I also love the eye shadows of course, if only they were not broken...

All and all, a pretty fantastic box indeed! I think Lola Box celebrated their first anniversary with a bang! The items inside (not counting the perfume, dried flowers and lip balm) tallied up to IDR 228.950! That's like, more than twice the price of the box! Counting the lip balm it'd be 3x! AWESOMEBALLS!!!!! (but after reading some other unboxing posts, i just realized that the surprise full size product's not given out to every subscribers, only the lucky ones! So i take back my unlucky statement about getting the dried flower, because i'd take a lip balm anytime to any nail decors! LOL) I definitely do not regret jumping back into the beauty box wagon!

UPDATE :

Good news! I just got an e-mail from Lola Box' team telling me that they are going to replace the broken eye shadows without us having to go all the hassle! So happy! Gonna update more once i receive the replacements!

I totally forgot to update this sooner, but i already got the replacement eye shadows a few weeks ago >.< sorry! Kudos to Lola Box, keep up the great job!

Is This That Blog That's Full of Complaints?

Hi, peeps!

I've been bombarded with (trivial but yet still annoying) matters lately, mainly with credit cards. While b*tching about it with some friends via BBM, Oline was like "Write it on your blog, cc!", and i replied "Errr, this blog is so going to be known as the Complains Blog, wouldn't it?" to which she replied "Isn't it the truth though?". LOL. Instead of being offended, i think it's true but i should totally clarify something (before launching on other complains, which will come up shortly). I know #Undecided and i are very loud, opinionated people and we do use this blog as a platform to voice our words. Read this entry that she wrote about standing up for ourselves or forever being other people's pushover, and we REFUSE to be pushovers.

I know that some bloggers are afraid to write bad things that happened to them in fear that people will label them as b*tchy bloggers and brands won't want to collaborate with them (this is mainly true for beauty/fashion bloggers), as for us? We never set up this blog to receive freebies (which if comes our way will be welcomed wholeheartedly of course) or being sponsored (it's a bonus! Not the main goal), more over we actually strive to be WRITERS. So if being ourselves meaning this blog will forever be our private (but what's so private about a blog that's been hit for 500-800 times a day without any proper advertisement other than the odd posting in various bloggers community's Facebook groups?) playground so be it. We do receive invitations, collaborations offers, business proposals from this blog anyway, and that's already more than we planned when we first started this blog.

That being said, i want to thank each and everyone of you who keeps on coming back to read our b*tchy little blog and even sweet enough to leave comments. You should know that while getting the "Ohhh, you're so cuteee" "You look gorgeous" "You're so pretty!!!" comments gave us mood and confidence boosters, it is the "I love your writing!!!" "I find myself reading your blog nonstop!!!" that truly gave us real sense of accomplishment and propel us to write more, and made us casts our self-doubts (mainly if we need to market ourselves as less opinionated, more company friendly blog. Yeah, that's not gonna happen).

And guess what? Standing up for yourself WORKS, that travel insurance agency? They decided to re-investigate our case, we received personal (from the agent) e-mails (and from the agency itself) apologizing about the outcome and explaining how she already tried to help, hunny even received a phone call regarding the investigation this morning-which is already a lot more than what happened before (they didn't even bother calling us to ask how the story went). Regardless on how the end result would be, i am ensured now that if you think you're right, it's never wrong to take matters to your own hands and fight for it. At least now they actually take us seriously instead of casting us aside like some stupid, clueless people they seemed to see at the first place.

Now, the point of this blog entry (actually this started as an opening to another totally unrelated post but it went on and on so i decided to post this as a separate blog post, that's how horrible i am! LOL), can i start complaining? This is not just a complain but also a warning for YOU to be careful with credit cards bills okay? Especially if like #Undecided, you don't even bother reading your statements and just pay whatever number you see in your statements (this would be case #2 though).

Case #1 : Mandiri credit card.

I tried multiple times to pay for hunny's credit card bill via E-Banking and it continuously failed because their website kept on crashing (those you use Mandiri e-banking would know that this is true and happens all the friggin time) until at one point, i thought i succeeded. The page went on to what appears to be a successful transaction page, with tiny red writings that told me that the transaction was a failure. Yep, i totally overlooked it and it was of course partly my fault. But don't forget, i already tried MULTIPLE times to pay for it and it kept on failing. Later when i realized it was a failure, i freaked and kept on trying to pay (it was late, you can't expect us to get out of the house at dawn just to pay a credit card bill, yes? What E and Mobile Bankings are for then???) and it kept on failing. We finally managed to pay it, 2 days late.

And of course, they charged us IDR 130.000. Which is a miniscule number, but that is NOT the point. The point is, why should we be charged on something that is also partly THEIR fault? It's hardly our fault if their website kept on crashing, isn't it? We already contacted them as soon as we realized it the payment didn't came through and they promise to make a note to make sure we won't be charged, but we were charged and when confronted by it they just said "Terribly sorry, we cannot credit it back. Just be careful next time". BE CAREFUL???? Be careful my a**!!! How was i supposed to be careful when i already kept on trying to pay and your website kept on crashing??? How about YOU take care of your website and upgrade it, make sure this never going to happen again and not patronize us about it? Geez! Mandiri bank, you're on my black list now. Will be closing the credit card as soon as the installments we have in the credit card's finished.

Case 2 : HSBC credit card.

Now this one actually not really HSBC's fault but since it involves them then i just chose that title to be more consistent *LOL*. The real problem lies with Lola Box. Why? You know i was their loyal customer since they first appeared in the beauty box world (and they seems to be the last two beauty box company still standing, who knows for how much longer since i realize they no longer accept 6 months and 1 year subscriptions and been MIA in social medias since last Saturday, which is always a tell tale sign of beauty boxes company going kaput) and kept on renewing my 3 months subscriptions for 3 times. My last transaction was on October/November 2013 for another 3 months subs, which ended on January 2014.

I have not (and no desire to) renew the subscription ever since (and no, i am not being delusional. I've checked my account with them as well as my e-mails to make sure i didn't rise in the middle of the night, sleep-computering and renewed my subs), so how come when hunny received his HSBC bill there's a LOLABOX transaction worth IDR 375.000? And i don't think i've ever used HSBC credit card for any transaction in Lola Box in the first place anyway!

I'm very obsessive and i freaked (naturally), thankfully HSBC's cs seems to be very accommodating, (as long as they approve the complains, which is 99% in the bag-or so they said) so we've blocked the credit card and will be receiving a new one in the mail soon. Still, it sucks to have to go though all the trouble and possibly have to pay for the new card, when it was never our fault in the first place! How did that transaction get in there??? So scary!!! And this is not the first time this happened, years ago someone in Thailand tried to hack our credit card, thankfully the HSBC CS called us to clarify if we made that transaction (which is NOT true since we were nowhere near Thailand back then), another time with other credit card (Mega, i think) with even more unknown transaction with merchant we've never even heard about. WTH. Why is this keeps on happening to us?

To make matter worse, Lola Box also cannot be reached. They did not respond to my Tweet, e-mail and Facebook wall for days (even though i used to praise their CS' fast responses back in the day), their phone (the only phone number they put on their website is a Flexy number) is turned off. WHAT IS HAPPENING???

And so, it is IMPORTANT to read your bank statements and bills kids, unexpected transaction that you've never made might pop out sometimes (in our case, 3x) and you need to do something about it before it's too late (i imagine once you make the payment you can't complain about it anymore).

UPDATE :
I finally hear from Lola Box, or should i say-they spammed me with pretty much the same e-mail over and over again (probably because they kept on calling me Minny and Hendratmi on the first e-mail *LOL* whoever the hell those people are) stating that it MIGHT be my old transaction back in November. Really??? REALLY???? You charge my credit card FIVE months later? Why not five years later? They also insist that i check on my old statements if i've already been charged or not. Like, seriously... Who keeps 5 months old statements??? I sure don't. And you can't ask me by feeling surely, coz i do feel like i definitely PAID for it already, but can i be sure? Of course i can't! I don't even know how to reply to their e-mail yet without exploding and telling them that i think their system suck b***s. PFFFFFTTTTTT.

With that, i am gonna close this unexpected entry. I was actually thinking, would it be excessive to write a post like this when i just posted a complain post not a week ago? If you think so, please refer to the first three paragraphs :p. I (we) may be complainers, but don't worry-we only complain about legitimate matters. If you don't do anything to piss us off, of course we won't be complaining (that would make us insane people that needs to be admitted to some asylum) in the first place. I find justful complains to be healthy (for our mental state as well as to create awareness to some matters for the readers) and necessary.

So if you think we complaint too much, take my suggestion : Next time you see a blog post title that sounds like a complain? Don't click it :). Stick to our happy-go-lucky travel (of course, there would be some complains in them too though if something happened in that travel!), reviews or hang out posts-which we have plenty of!

We are so much more than just that blog that complains, but don't sue us if you see this kind of posts whenever we're faced with frustrating situations!

PS : At least you can't call us the complainers that doesn't do anything but complain. We complain AND take actions. Including writing blog posts like this to make sure you know stuffs can happen and how you can avoid them in the future.

PPS : If you're wondering about the outcome with the whole debacle with Lola Box, you can read the comment below. For Lola Box' peace of mind, let me clarify this : i am not accusing Lola Box of abusing my credit card information, i was suspicious about the transaction and voiced my concern. I did forget the card i was using and that's my fault, but for the life of me i CANNOT remember if i have paid it or not months ago (and i actually never thought "OMG, Lola Box is trying to steal my money! They must be stealing my credit card informations!". No, i was worried if there's any way someone could hack their system and maybe the money didn't even go to Lola Box). That's why i e-mailed them (why in the world would i even try to reach to them if i just want to waive the payment? I could just stay silent and even block out their comments). The reply i got, was unsatisfactory, so when i added the EDIT part, i got even madder. So don't worry Lola Box, nobody's accusing you of anything criminal. Guess what, i didn't even tag Lola Box in this post so if anyone Google it (everybody knows that if you google them then lots of the results would be directed to MY blog) this won't come up, but now i change my mind.

Shopping Queen is Back!

But then again she never really left, did she? LOL.

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty nice even though i felt (and still do) a bit like a zombie (tired and a bit sleepy all the time, this also explained why i went missing from this blog for the entire weekend-which is almost unheard of), but i still had lots of fun. Spent everyday in different malls since Friday *LOL* hence more shopping that prompted this title :p. At least i didn't shop at all in Sunday, went to watch Wolf of Wall Street with #Undecided (and our hubbies) instead. It was good, funny in the most ridiculous (a bit crazy really) way. I think we enjoyed it more than our hubbies. Plus the jokes were not always the most obviously funny ones, you know clever lines and all? #Undecided and i laughed like two maniacs... to a very quiet (and seemingly confused) cinema. The jokes kinda got lost in translation, so i'd advise you to skip the translation and LISTEN to the dialogue instead, it'd be 1000x funnier.

Anyway, this is actually another haul post (i'm sure you didn't expect anything else from that title), but i seem to go through the phase of being too lazy to do my weekly haul and post my old hauls (which are severely long overdue) AGAIN, and skip to a newer haul (but being an OCD that i am, i'm pretty sure i'd still cover those old hauls anyway, just not sometime soon *LOL*) altogether. But there's a little story behind this time's haul...

I actually went out with my cousin L on one of our usual girly day out (it's been postponed quite a few times, since December actually. It's nothing new when you're dealing with L of course, i didn't even believe that we were really going to go before she BBM-ed me telling me that she's picking me up in about an hour, that's when i began to get ready), haven't been hanging out with her a lot lately so i kinda missed her. As usual, when i go shopping with her... I kinda ended up with more of the "branded" items *sigh* (because in Indonesia high street brands are considered "branded" if you know what i mean...

Some beauty boxes also arrived that day so i ended up with even more stuffs. I just chucked everything together for this pic but will do unboxing entries separately.

Actually L's main goal for this shopping date was to find outfits for his hubby for their little's son's upcoming birthday party which has a pretty cute theme (she's even having a themed-dress tailored, which is pretty suprising because we're talking about boyish L here-she also meant to look for shoes to fit this dress), but again as usual she managed to not get anything from her list and bought totally unrelated stuffs altogether (like clothes for herself *LOL*).

First we went to Next to look for stuffs for her hubby (and apparently a loose sleeveless top for herself, which we found hundreds of that day but nothing suits her taste, typical) but she left with nothing and i did with something *double sigh*

Now, i mentioned this plenty of times-i am NOT a hat person. Most hats look ridiculous on me and i only had two hats (one that i wore to SG/JB last May/June and another beanie that i bought in Amsterdam to wear on the snowy mountain of Switzerland!), but weirdly the crazier designed (mostly cartoon type. Or the ones with crazy pointy ears or whatever) suits me *ZZZ*. I showed this hat to Rosemary and she said she didn't know if she should laugh or what *LOL*. #Undecided and G thinks it's super cute though (i do too obvi) and i think i should be able to pull it off in Hong Kong (with their crazy fashionable people and all) *off in about two weeks, excited!!!!*

Then we also went to Zara (used to frequent Mango more but their prices seems to switch and now Mango became crazy expensive even on sales-totally weird because most of their clothes are now made in INDONESIA!-Zara's sale are becoming more and more affordable) and i... Unexpectedly (but unsurprisingly) got some stuffs...

This super thick knitted cardi. They were having crazy sales on their thick jumpers/cardis, but most of them were a bit furry and i HATE those type (always gets in my eyes and mouth because they shed like bunnies. Well, do bunnies shed though?) but i was kinda determined to find something thick (because i don't own enough, i even had to borrow coats from my sister on for my European tour) since we seem to travel to colder countries more now. This one was so pretty when worn i couldn't NOT get it. Plus the original price was IDR 799.000 and i got it for IDR 269.900. A total steal or what?

And a super slouchy, roomy (so oversized even this S size totally engulfed me), comfortable and CUTE long sleeved tee. For IDR 129.900 i didn't think too much about getting it

I stopped myself after getting two (even though i could get at least 10 more if let myself, of course), L got herself a very cool blue Burberry-patterned chiffon jumper. Sometime after coffee (and L *who's currently having a sorethoat-which she claimed to be her first EVER her whole life. How could anyone never get a sorethroat for her entire 30 years??? I mean... I get it every few months at least* had late lunch mixed with a great dose of moaning and whimpering) i remembered G's info about Bling's sale!

They have sections that went for IDR 19.900 each (normal price up to IDR 109.000 or so, madness!)

I also finally were able to pick up this red bag from Urban Outfitter (it's Fossil's) that i've been eyeing for a while but when i finally took the plunge (it was pretty pricey, IDR 2.050.000 but you can pay it in installment, which made it justifiable for me :p) it was sold out in the stores (the red ones, which is the most striking one. The blue and orange ones were still available) but the employee in TP (the ones in GM just said "We don't have it" and ignore us immediately) actually went and look for it in their online store, found one in stock at their warehouse and ordered it for us. I waited for a VERY long time since their first promised arrival date (the date was pushed back a few times afterward) for various reason, the latest one being their warehouse was flooded in Jakarta (which is a very legit reason, but if they ordered it immediately after i gave them the down-payment, Jakarta wouldn't even be flooded yet!) zzzz. But alas, it's finally here and it's well before Chinese New Year (when i have every intention of wearing it).

And here's my OOTD for that girly day out, i am going through a casual-but-still-girly outfits now (which CW called "my sleeping wear phase" i guess). I actually bought a huge bulks of these clothes a few years ago (but never worn them yet, obvi) because i love them so much (and they were so cheap, so so so cheap zzz) but i kinda forgotten about them in my massive "brand new clothes" cupboards and only been wearing them pretty much non-stop lately.

My new uniform : Super loose top (they always ended up being very off shoulder somehow, that means i'm very slopey right?) with casual mini skirt

Loose Top : Cotton On (it was SGD 2 or so, and it was when SGD was so much cheaper, so it was like IDR 14.000 WTF. I got it in every color, i have like...6). Striped Army Green Skirt : Cotton On (also crazy cheap. Maybe like, SGD 3)

I love pockety skirts. I have another one in orange :p

Easy and casual enough for a shopping day. Can be taken off in a flash so i wasn't annoyed when i had to try things on..

I find it to be very sweet and thoughtful that they went to all the trouble to explain that to me (i know most beauty boxes wouldn't even bother to), and i stood by my words that Lola Box has the best CS for local beauty boxes, they are always attentive, polite and makes me feel VALUED. Got it in Sweet Cheeks this time (SO PRETTY!!!!) and i will not stop until i have every variant. I was gonna order the eye shadow palette too but i'm gonna spread it out a little. That's my current manicure btw, painted my nails some metallic blue polish from Collection (of course review can be expected)

I also gave up and ordered one Peripera Love Fairy Tint Glow Stick because Kat got an "insider" (actually another beauty blogger who lives in Korea and got back to Indonesia for a holiday) so it was on a special price. Got it for IDR 96.000 when most online shops sells it at least 20.000 more expensive.

Got it in #1, it is so pretty i immediately regret buying only 1 *___*. Another thing crossed from this wishlist

The biggest box (Demalogica Overnight Skin Rescue set) was a free gift from Kat2, how very generous of her!

I also decided to use that Ishine voucher from VT again for the lipsticks last Saturday because Buy 1 Get 1 means one lippie was only IDR 37.500 (they retailed for IDR 75.000 each, just ignore the price tag that stated IDR 95.000, i dunno what's up with that) and it was too good of a deal to pass on. In the end i used almost every voucher in that book (see my previous haul here) save for the powder (not cheap enough) and eyeliner (have too much eyeliners already. And also not cheap enough)

Like i said earlier, i do not have enough orange-tinged lip products. With three new ones in this entry alone, i should probably slow down though

Hunny and i are smitten over these Orginal Source shower gels (newly available in Guardian, showed up sometime around this last month), we bought a few of the bigger sized ones (and because my haul posts are so random in terms of time frame now, i haven't even covered them *LOL*) earlier this month (i am such a weird OCD person, i wouldn't let him use them yet because i want him to use up the older stocks firsts, but he smuggled and tried them all out already and he loved them. I am not so happy about him de-virginate our no-longer-brand-new shower gels of course), and then hunny spotted these tiny sized ones and insisted on buying them "to bring to Hong Kong". Yeah right. We have like, 20 of these tiny travel sized shower gels waiting to be used. But how can i resist such cute (and yummy smelling) shower gel, only IDR 10.000 each (50ml)?

Definitely our new fave (a good thing that they are super affordable too), to-die-for smelling shower gel!

I will collect every single variant they have soon, it's a promise! LOL. Speaking of Guardian, they are having this Buy 1 Get 1 promotion on selected Silky Girl products, since i still do not have the grape and cherry variant of the Pop Soda Lip Jelly, i wanted to get them *naturally*. Unfortunately they have this *kinda stupid, frankly* policy that you have to buy the exact same variant. Now, who would buy two grape lip jellies??? Not me! Grrrr. I mean, i understand if you have to buy 2 of the same variants when it comes to like, medicine of whatever. But decorative make up products? It definitely doesn't work that way!

Anyway, i have a new obsession now when it comes to beauty! I've just recently (last Friday actually) got my hair re-touched (and 20 cm chopped off my hair. It's definitely not short but it's the shortest i've gotten in the past few years!) and am very blonde (not bleached blonde, mind you) right now. I've been having this hair color for years but only NOW i realize how starkingly BLACK my eyebrows are. I kinda freaked (out of nowhere), eyebrow pencils and powders doesn't work for them (because they are very thick and jet black) so i hope an eyebrow mascara will suffice! I've ordered them from Chic-Princessa, waiting for it to arrive now...I guess freaking out about how mis-matched my eyebrow and hair are is another "perk" of being a beauty blogger and reading too many beauty blogs... *i've been sighing a lot in this entry, so here's another one SIGH!*.
