Event Report : Pixy Beauty & Inspiring Talks

Hi everybody!

It's been a while since the last time i share about fun beauty events in this blog (because honestly usually i'd just post the pics in my IG and call it a day haha) so here's a good one :

Pixy Beauty & Inspiring Talks by Pixy Cosmetics and Hipwee ^^

So last Friday, i - along with a few beauty blogger friends - were invited to this event, this is actually the first event that i attended during my 6 year-stint as a beauty blogger that is actually held in an actual University, so that's pretty interesting! It was held in FISIP Faculty in one of the most prestigious Unis in Surabaya : Universitas Airlangga.

Outside the hall that were used for the event, Pixy already set up a booth where the attendants of the event can purchase Pixy products (they were all given Pixy vouchers that they can spend here, and with Pixy super affordable prices, it is totally possible to grab a few items and they'd only have to pay a little bit over the voucher!).

It was super crowded before and after the event (that sadly the bloggers couldn't spend the vouchers since we didn't have the strength to face the crowd hahaha), this picture was taken during the event, that's why it's deserted :))

Inside the hall, the stage was all set up already.

At the tables, Pixy team already prepared products for all the attendants to use

We spotted some of Pixy's newer launches and was super excited to swatch and play with them (we actually received a few products from this line in our goodie bag later that day and i'm super happy about it even though we didn't get the BB Cream that i really want to try *strong hint* :p)

They also provided capes and headbands so we can all play with makeup safely without risking any clothes or hair staining haha

So before the beauty class started, the MC broke the ice with some very fun games that the attendants (mostly from Universitas Airlangga and other universities in Surabaya too) very enthusiastically joined.

In this game the participants were all challenged to review and talk about Pixy products ala beauty vloggers :D

And finally, it was time for the beauty class!

All of the participants were very serious because they knew that by the end of the beauty class Cynthian was going to choose some girls with the best makeups!

Yup, loads and loads of girls joined in the event that day

Cynthian was very thorough with the explanation, she was also very patient answering any questions the participants had during the class.

It was such a fun and useful event, i know that not every girl knows how to do proper skin care and basic makeup - which is very important because without proper skin cares, our skin will not be in their best condition and will age much faster, and basic makeup knowlege is very important because we all need to know how to make ourselves look presentable whenever needed - so this kind of event, especially targeted for younger women in University is very nice and should be conducted more often ^^.
