I am about to leave for a fun little trip in a little bit - but not before i let you in on my not-so-secret current skin care routine :D. Let me introduce you to this awesome local Indonesian cosmetic brand : Royalty Cosmetic !

I initially thought that Royalty Cosmetic is a new brand but i just found out that they actually have been around since 2008 (so definitely not a new kid in the block!) and most importantly - already BPOM certified. Now, Royalty Cosmetic currently have two lines, Skin Care line and Body Care line. Today we are gonna focus on their skin care line. Btw, Royalty Cosmetic is a premium cosmetic brand so the price is not drugstore price, okay ^^!

It's pretty refreshing to see a skin care brand that focuses on only three products instead of 15 *LOL*, i personally love this minimalistic approach to skin care as i like to keep my skin care routine as short as possible (plus i have oily, sensitive skin that too much layers' never a good news for me). I have been using these three products (i add a toner in the mix but that's the only thing that i add) exclusively for the past 2 weeks and i like what they are doing to my skin!

I was also a bit worried that the cleansing soap would be too harsh for my skin - but it's actually nice and gentle on my skin so i was worried about nothing *LOL* |

| The cleansing soap is protected with a thin layer of plastic to ensure its hygiene and freshness. Although it looks like a regular soap bar, it is a lot softer and a little bit slippery so it is very easy to use - all you gotta do is mix it with a little bit of water and it'll melt beautifully. It doesn't create too much suds and has a soft relaxing scent. I personally find the scent a bit concerning at first because it reminds me of soap bars you use to shower (and i don't usually use products that has that kind of scent on my face), but it's actually floral and soft smelling and after a while i get used to the scent. |
Royalty Cosmetic claims that their natural whitening soap can penetrate skin's pores and works effectively to regain skin's suppleness on skin that are suffering from premature aging, as well as getting rid of wrinkles. As almost all of facial skin's problem faced by both men and women are caused by dirt that piled up on our facial skin and not all of those dirt can be removed therefore causing problems on our skin like acne, black spots, dullness and oiliness and this can be taken care with Royalty Cleansing Soap as the first step.
Royalty Cleansing Soap contains :
Betel Nut Leaves' Extract : known for their many benefits, one of which is to prevent acne as there's anti-bacteria content in them. This is making beetle nut every effective to prevent acne from returning.
Aloe Vera Extract : long used in traditional medicine, it is useful to cure acne and black/white heads on oily skin, prevent premature aging, remove black spots, etc.
Coconut Extract : one of the fruits known to have all kind of benefits in the beauty department, one of which functions to moisturize skin as well as taking care of acne problems. Coconut oil can also brighten up skin tone.
Royalty Cleansing soap is suitable for all skin types, can be used by both men and women, made from natural ingredients and doesn't contain any mercury, brightening and acne removing, cost effective as you do not have to get an expensive treatments out of your house, suitable for tropical areas, BPOM certified and safe to use.
I have been using this soap twice a day, on its own in the morning and after removing my makeup (if i am wearing any that day) thoroughly at night. It is very soft on my skin but effective to cleanse my skin thoroughly. It is gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft, but i always immediately continue with my skin care routine or else it might feel a little drying. It's very good on my oily skin but i am not sure how it'd work on drier skin. For dry skin, please check my fellow Surabaya Beauty Blogger's reviews as we all have different skin types.
All in all, i find it to be a very nice face cleanser and it works super well on my skin so i am definitely going to continue using it. I do think it's a little bit pricey for 80gr, but it does make my skin condition much better than before so i guess it's worth the price tag. I have been facing less and less acne and black/white heads problem visibly since it start using it along with the Day and Night Cream.

Royalty Day Cream's enriched with :
Glutathione Extract : the best antioxidant containing cycteine, glutamate, and glysine. Glutathione brighten skin up naturally, making skin luminous and slow down skin aging process, making skin softer, flawless and silky.
Saxifraga Sarmentosa Extract : it is the herb that can be found in Strawberry Begonia containing antioxidant that brighten skin up naturally.
Arbutin Extract : is an organic compound extracted from bearberry plant, it is used in cosmetic composition to brighten skin up naturally as it can take care of skin pigmentation and smoothen melanine formation process.
Peonia Suffruticosa Root Extract : extracted from Japanese peony tree's roots, it is benefecial to firm facial skin can slow down premature skin aging process.
Other than that, there are also seaweed extract and allantoin that help protect skin's hydration and nurture skin's youth as well as OMC and Benzonphenon to protect skin from UV A and B damage. The most important active ingredient in Royalty Day Cream is Apple Stem Cell that works as anti aging to prevent premature aging like wrinkles.

| The packaging is very simple and to be brutally honest, i find to be a bit too simple and generic for such a premium brand. I personally think that they should probably think of at least printing the label on the actual jar instead of such a generic sticker |

The Day Cream is very very light, it is probably one of the lightest day cream i've ever tried, especially considering the fact that it has SPF 15. It's very milky, soft, cooling to the skin and gets absorbed super fast into my skin leaving it super smooths, soft and silky without any trace of grease behind. It is one of the most comfortable day cream i've ever used, it moisturizes my skin well without making it oily. It also works well under makeup. Both the day and night creams have very soft and relaxing scent.
It claims to prevent dryness, amplified skin brightening naturally, gets rid of redness due to UV rays on skin, effective to remove melanine so it makes skin brighter and more luminous, helps to prevent acne and wrinkles.
It works super well on my oily, slightly dehydrated skin - please always note that i write as how it performs on MY skin. I find both the day and night creams to be very light so i do feel a bit concerned on how it works on dry skin. In fact i find the entire line is my oily skin's best friend so i personally would highly recommend this line for people with similar skin condition as mine. If you have very different skin types to mine (very dry or acne prone) please do check with other reviewers before jumping the gun!

| It claims to be thicker and bouncier than the day cream, i can feel it slightly but it is also very light and gets absorbed to the skin super fast. If you're not paying a very close attention then honestly it's quite hard to differentiate the textures of the two creams as they are pretty similar to each other |
I also enjoy using this night cream very much, as the owner of an oily skin i always welcome light, easily absorbed and non oil inducing creams very happily - it ticks all the boxes of what i want in a night cream!
Like i already mentioned earlier, i truly enjoyed my experience with Royalty Cosmetic Skin Care. The trio works well to restore my skin condition that was not the best before (i was suffering from allergy attacks and also got loads of white heads). After routinely using them, my skin is now in the best condition in months. It's smooth, hydrated and i am very happy with my current skin condition - i've only been using Royalty Cosmetic skin care exclusively for the past 2 weeks so it's safe to say that my skin is in tip top condition thanks to them!
Again, Royalty Cosmetic is a premium brand and their price tags' pretty high, but if you are interested to try them then you might want to consider getting their Gold Package. Royalty Cosmetics Gold Package consists of all three of the products that i've reviewed today, including the Cleansing Soap, Day Cream and Night Cream with a special price of IDR 475,000 (that's cheaper than getting each product individually, ofc).
