Clean-O-Matter 13 : The Yeon Vita7 Peeling Gel

Can you tell i'm really trying to revive this blog again? I honestly don't know if the spirit will stay, but we shall see!
I really cannot remember for sure, but i think... I've never talked about peeling gels before in this blog..? I'm not 100% sure but i sure think so. It's pretty weird because i actually LOVE peeling gels! Though i haven't tried a lot of different peeling gels because i used to stick by Bio Essence Peeling Gel, i think went through more than a few tubes and i remember when i first used it, it was not available in Indonesia yet so i would stock up whenever i went to Singapore/Malaysia. Oh those sweet old days when i actually was loyal to some brands and products *LOL*, those days are clearly long gone. Other than Bio Essence, i also used iUnik Lime Moisture Peeling Gel, it was sent to me by the brand so i'm pretty sure i should've reviewed it but... I cannot find the post in this blog. Nothing came up when i searched peeling or iUnik so... I dunno what happened there. Did i only reviewed it on my IG (kinda unlikely because i think it was sent pretty long ago when i did all of my sponsored posts in this blog...)
Anyway, my point is : 1. I love peeling gels. They are my chosen type of physical exfoliator (i don't really like those harsh face scrubs) 2. I probably only used 2 or so brands of other peeling gels before and 3. i am going to review the current one i am using from (yeah, surprise surprise) a Korean brand called The Yeon : Vita7 Peeling Gel.

| The texture is creamy but whipped (so it's airy and light instead of heavy and thick), light orange in color and has a refreshing soft orange candy scent! It doesn't smell tangy because it smells more like a candy for me *which i like* |

| How to use : Apply a thin layer all over dry face (avoid eye and mouth area) , leave for 1-2 minutes |

Compared to the other 2 peeling gels that i've used, the texture of Vita7 Peeling Gel is very different. It is creamier (while the other two are transparent, light gels) and it also contain those little scrubbing beads (that are not present in the other 2) so i think the peeling power is also doubled. The little beads are not harsh (and there are not many of them) but i think because it contains AHA and BHA in the ingredient (which are usually present in chemical peeling products - so i think this peeling gel is actually a hybrid between a physical and chemical peeling), after leaving it for one minute i actually feel my skin feeling a little tender (nothing too major tho) before i even massage the product off.
It calls itself a Vitamin Bomb that is a hypoallergenic (safe to use by sensitive skin - i'd suggest a patch test if you have very sensitive skin tho, because as i said earlier, i did get a tingling, tender sensation leaving the product on for a full minute so that is worth noting) peeling gel that is made from fresh yellow Hallabong (a type of Mandarin orange from Jeju island that contains 7 vitamin complex)) that claims to help make skin softer, brighter, lift dead skin cells, remove blackheads and extra sebum and make makeup stick better. It is also deep moisturizing and free of 7 potentially harmful ingredients including parabens, mineral oils and PEGs
With ingredients :
*AHA, BHA and natural cellulose exfoliates the skin to prevent flaky makeup and formation of dead skin cells. Peeling your dead skin cells and accumulated dirt off from your skin and pores without irritating
*7 Multi-Vitamin Complex (C, E, B3, B5, F, H, A) replenishes skin with vitamins and nutrients for smooth and bright skin
*Orange Vitamin C Capsule (this is probably the orange beads i was talking about) brighten and moisturized skin
*Flower Complex and Phyto Complex offer tone-up and calming effects to skin.
I personally like this peeling gel a lot. I mean, it's cute, it smells great and it also works well. My skin does feel immediately soft and smooth after usage, it also looks brighter and cleaner. Although it doesn't necessarily lift off blackheads completely, it opens up and soften my pores so that i can remove them gently and easily. I do have sensitive skin (hence the tender sensation) but as long as i apply calming and soothing ampoule generously afterwards (my ampoule of choice is the FarmStay from the previous post!), i experience no further side effect.
So if you're looking for an effective and quick to use peeling product that is pretty gentle on the skin but able to really rid your skin of rough layers of dead skin cells, that has ingredients to give nutrients to your skin too, i highly recommend checking this one from The Yeon out.
Have you tried any The Yeon products? I am a bit disappointed that their other products seems to have very basic, boring packaging unlike this one *LOL*. But i'm still curious if they have other stand out products that is worth trying out.
