As usual, Charis always brings us awesome brands that otherwise we might never heard of before. I don't know about you, but O'U is not a brand that i am familiar with yet. If i read everything correctly, O'U seems to be standing for One Day's You (Korean always comes with the cutest names *LOL*). You can check out O'U's website here, most of it is in Hangeul and i don't know how to translate the page :)))...) and it is a South Korean beauty brand that focuses mostly on skin care.
Even their makeup (there are not a lot, the real "real" makeup is this Sun BB Cream) also have skincare benefits so that should speak a lot about the brand and their principle.

With such interesting claims and promises, it totally peaked my interest. I'd say that they do deliver most of their promises, but my skin type might not be exactly the best suited for it - therefore i have mixed feelings about this product. I am always brutally honest with my reviews, but please note that it might not be 100% great on my skin due to my skin type - it would probably work a lot better for drier/normal skin type - but it still works pretty well on me and i would definitely continue using it.

| I was pretty surprised at how long the BB Cream's tube was when it first arrived. The BB Cream comes in a slim and long beige squeeze tube with black twist off cap and it contains 50gr worth of product. | It only has one shade and honestly it is quite light, even for my pale skin but i think it adjusted to your skin color after awhile, but i am not sure how it would look and work on dark skin tone but for fairer skin, you can make it work even if it looks a but ashy at first |

I must admit, i personally do not agree with some of their claims : like how they said it has a remarkable coverage? I find it very light and soft (which they also claim about) and it has quite low coverage - which is totally expected from these types of Sun BB Cream (personally i would describe this to be more of a tinted moisturizer). I also struggle a bit with application (it probably would work better with sponges or even your finger tips) as i always use an oval brush for my base makeup - it seems to be clinging to dry spots when i use mattifying day cream underneath, making it a bit blotchy and hard to blend, but it slides off super fast (it breaks apart in a few hours) if i over moisturize.
I do manage to find the perfect technique to use it (which you might want to take note if you have oilier skin like me) where i still mattify my skin (to prevent it from melting off) and spend more time blending, then i use three different powders to set it *yes, i am serious*. The first one is a loose powder to set, then compact powder that has a drier, more powdery finish for some extra coverage and lastly a dewier powder for a smoother, less powdery finish. This way i find the Sun BB Cream to be able to last all day long (i wore it to an event from early in the morning and continued going out of town until almost midnight, my makeup still looked great!). I would also suggest using a primer and setting spray if you want your make up to really be locked in for the day.

| Close up. As you can see, it does have a brightening effect, it looks a bit ashy but as i put on some powder and sometime passed, it adjusted to my skin tone. It smooths out my skin and neutralizes redness but unable to hide my old acne marks on my chin. And you can also see how it looks kinda patchy on my nostrils and the sides of my mouth which are a bit dry. The finished look is definitely very glowy and dewy, which is something people with drier skin type might be able to appreciate more, for me this only means it's gonna move around and slide fast if i don't immediately set it with powder :) |

I do love all of the benefits that this Me Nyeo Sun BB Cream has to offer, with such high level of SPF, i don't need to use another sunblock underneath, which is always a plus as i hate having too many layers on my easily clogged skin. The fact that it actually blocks out fine dust is also another super cool thing, as well as how comfortable and light it feels on my skin. I hardly feel like i'm wearing any makeup!
I personally would say that O'U Anti-Pollution Me Nyeo Sun BB Cream is the BB Cream that i would recommend for everyday use as it is very light and comfortable, it's not gonna clog your pores and makes you look more polished without looking too done up. If you are looking for a more high coverage base, then this is not really the product to go to, although if you have minimal blemishes to cover like me, then you can make it work with a little concealer and various powder to set it *LOL*.
So, do i like it? I honestly was a bit frustated when i first use it (because it melted off and cracked my makeup just a few hours in) but after finding out the right technique (that i already explained earlier), i actually enjoy it quite a bit. I would probably not use it for days when i need more coverage, but for everyday use i would definitely reach for it.
