Lip-Talk 41 : Beautitarian Velour Lip (SPONSORED)

Hey guys!

I am back with my favorite product to review : lippies!!! Gyaaaa, i dunno why new lippies always makes me giddy with happiness :)). Today's lippes are from a relatively new local brand called Beautitarian (they are established in 2017) - special thank you to Blogger Ceria to make ensure this collab to happen ^^.
Beautitarian Velour Lip, on the lips : Nude Aptitude
Now, i've been eyeing this brand ever since they first emerged so you know, i am naturally super excited when i finally have their products on my hand ^^.

A little background about the brand - i LOVE their philosophy! The name itself is derived from the word Beauty and suffix -arian, combined it means One that believes in beauty. Beautitarian believes that everyone is beautiful and aspire to to help the community to celebrate their beauty - and to love themselves. If that doesn't scream me and my own way of life, i don't know what is ^^ so obviously i already love them from the very start.

Even though they are still young and developing, they already have a very strong core value that i really respects. Not only all of their products are Halal (MUI certified, which is very valuable even to me, even though i am not a Moslem i love the fact that this means Beautitarian products can be used safely and without worry by us all, including our Moslem friends. Inclusivity at its finest ^.~), BPOM certified, but also vegan, cruely free (against animal testing, again something i really respect) and paraben free - while still striving to come up with the best, high quality products.

Currently they have Velour Lip (lip cream) with three shades and Metalip (metallic lip cream - their newer product) with two shades, and i have the honor to try out their Velour Lip.
Beautitarian Velour Lip
According to Beautitarian, Velour Lip is a lip cream with Vitamin E that delivers velvety, creamy and pigmented formula.
Beautitarian Velour Lip comes in a greyish metallic cardboard boxes with color codes to the shade
The actual lip cream is encased in a simple, cleanly designed smaller clear plastic tube (so you can see the shade easily) with black cap. Each tube contains 4g worth of product.
As the tube is pretty small, naturally the size of the wand is also pretty short :
With a little doe foot applicator, it is pretty easy to maneuver and navigate

L-R : Reddy to Go, Somepink Special and Nude Aptitude (as someone who loves puns and cheeky shade names, i totally approve of their names :)) )
Under artificial light
Beautitarian Velour lip are very richly pigmented, you can expect the  color showing up even from the first swipe, the formula is creamy and easy to apply - although i personally think that Reddy to Go (albeit being my favorite shade out of the three) *is the only one that slightly* needs more coaxing and finessing for it to look perfect. I wouldn't say that it's sheer, but it's slightly more uneven compared to the other two shades, nothing major and a little swiping motion would fix it, it's just slightly different in formulation (probably because it's the boldest color) than the other two.

The lip cream has a sweet vanilla scent, so it's pretty pleasant - nothing offensive or too much and it dries down matte MATTE (it doesn't dry down immediately tho so you still have a little time to play around with it) so it does feel a little drying on the lips - but that is very normal for matte lip creams, just make sure you apply a moisturizing lip balm underneath, i personally don't find it making my lips dry or flaky - i just can feel it hugging my lips. Actually, because it dries down matte, it feels very light - not like you don't feel it on your lips, but it feels your lips when you're not wearing anything and just a little dry - if you get what i mean :))

The staying power is SUPERB, i wear them all day long and don't really feel the need to touch up unless i had a heavy, greasy meal - in which case i would wipe out my lip anyway because, well... Gross! LOL. But it pretty much will be there, sitting beautifully on your lips until the moment you decide to take it off. They do stain a little bit, but since i always wear thick lip balms beforehand, it minimizes the staining (not that i mind staining tho) - for the boldest shade (Reddy to Go), i need to completely remove it using eye and lip makeup remover for it to be completely removed.

As i am a fan of ombre lips, i experimented with them for ombre lips too - i personally don't think they work super well for ombre lips on their own because when i let the base shade to set, the second shade won't blend well - and when i try adding a second shade while the first one was still wet, it blends a little too well, creating a pretty new shade but not the type of ombre that i like *LOL*. So if you are a fan of Korean ombre lips, i personally would combine them with other lippies for that effect.

Now that we talked about the formula and performance in general, let's talk about the shades one by one.
Beautitarian Velour Lip in Nude Aptitude
As usual, i am only gonna post one ingredient list because they are all similar with just a few tweaks ^^
Nude Aptitude is well, clearly a nude color *LOL*
It is a beautiful nude, it slightly darker for me pale skin (still very pretty tho) so it's actually gonna look pretty in most skin tones. I would say it'd be a perfect nude shade for medium skin tone
Wearing Nude Aptitude will full makeup
I can see this shade being one of their best sellers because who doesn't love a good nude, yes? It's just very easy to wear and can match pretty much any look. It can look a bit dark on me (i wore it in the first picture of this post, you can see how it looks slightly vampy on me, i would say it oxidize since it definitely doesn't look that dark when i first put it on) but definitely still very wearable and easy to throw on, i'd say it's the most dummy-proof shade of the bunch. The formula is the creamiest and i think it shows on the picture ^^.
Beautitarian Velour Lip in Somepink Special
I honestly was expecting something more... well, pink *LOL* but for me it doesn't look very pink at all
I personally see this shade as more of a brick, coral shade with a hint of pink
It does look a little bit more pink in pictures than real life, but i think you can see that it's definitely not a true pink. A rather unique color, i think
Somepink Special
It's not my favorite shade, probably my least favorite out of the three but it's still a pretty, unusual type of color. It does make me less pale and i would say it would look pretty rosey on darker complexion, just personally not really my cup of tea. I do like to wear it to ombre my lip on top of a nude shade tho so i definitely will still get some use out of it ^^.
Beautitarian Velour Lip in Reddy to Go
Reddy to Go is a gorgeous, bright, luxurious red shade
It's the type of look that would make you look like you put on a lot of effort even though you probably spent 10 minutes on your makeup :)
I did make a mistake of snapping the picture too close to my ring light and having to up the saturation crazily to make the shade look closer to the way it looks in real life
Reddy to Go. Like, literally :)).
Like i said earlier, Reddy to Go is my favorite shade out of the three, it is not the easiest to apply (as it is very pigmented, a slight mistake would be pretty disastrous *as you can see from the lip swatch pic, i clearly stuggled at the cupid bow that day haha*) and it require more finessing than the other two, but the end result is simply stunning. The type of red shade that every woman should possess at least one in their collection coz it can be worn in every ocassion to make us look strong and well, expensive ^^.

Beautitarian Velour Lip can be easily purchased at their Shopee or Tokopedia for IDR 99.000 each, you can also order via their Line @beautitarian as they are only selling online right now.

I definitely enjoyed my experience with Beautitarian Velour Lip and i would definitely recommend you to try them especially if you are looking for long lasting, matte lip cream which are Halal, vegan, paraben free and cruelty free - it does tick all the boxes for me so i'm imagining it would tick most of you'd boxes too ^^! I enjoy it so much i am dying to try out the Metalip as well, the shades really seems to be my kind of shades too ^^.

Thank you again to Beautitarian and Blogger Ceria for the opportunity!
Wearing Nude Aptitude here, i think you can tell that it oxidizes and looks dark on me ^^
