Eye Stories 20 : Koko Black by Exoticon in Stone (SPONSORED)

Hello hello heelloooo :D!

First post in November and i have a contact lenses recommendation for you!

And before we start, you need to know that ever since i receive this pair in my mail, i've pretty much forgotten about all of my other opened lenses because it's just so comfortable... So yes, this is going to be a very positive review right off the bat!

The contact lenses that we are going to talk in depth about today is the new product from Exoticon (it is the brand that produces X2, as X2 is very well known maybe you heard more about X2 before? I had reviewed an X2 contact lenses as well before, you can read my review on X2 Sanso in Pearl here) called Koko Black.
I am wearing Koko Black in Stone
Koko Black is a pretty unique line since all of their variants are black lenses - only with different patterns. The variant that i got is called Stone.
What you receive when you get yourself a Koko Black lenses

Koko Black lenses comes in a little cardboard box dominated with black (ofc) color with gold and white variations

Yep, i have -6.00 degree, pratically blind *LOL*
The lenses are securely housed in a blister pack (my fave contact lenses packaging!)
Koko Black is made oi 58% polyhema and 42% water content. The base curve is 8.2 and they have 14.5 diameter - which means they have an enlarging effect (again, my fave!)
So from the inside the package i actually spotted that Stones is actually kinda greyish and not all black
It has a light grey simple pattern inside with black outer ring
Koko Black worn, under natural sunlight. It's quite obviously grey, don't you think?
L-R : My bare eyes (as you can see, i have very brown eyes) - with Koko Black in Stone
Yes, even though it is called Koko Black, but the variant Stone is actually grey, and it's very pretty!

As you can see from the photo above, it has a slightly enlarging effect but nothing massive or too cartoonish. I personally LOVE enlarging lenses (the bigger the better, i actually most prefer 15.8 diameter) and i am pretty happy that Stones does enlarge my pupil slightly (i don't like to see the white of my eyes on the lower part of my eyeballs.. Am i weird? I just feel that it makes me look sleepy and mean!). The design is also pretty simple and nothing too crazy, so if you're looking for contact lenses to enhance your eyes without being too much or crazy, Koko Black in Stone can actually be an option as it would make your eyes look more expressive without any dramatic change.

The thing that i love the most about Koko Black? It's SOOOOO comfortable! It's definitely one of the most comfortable type of contact lenses that i've tried (a lot of circle/colored lenses are not very comfortable at all). Koko Black is actually very affordable, i am not sure of the official price of them (as i did get sent them by the brand) but i do know that it's way under IDR 100k, and that's a very good price range for super comfortable, pretty pair of contact lenses. The quality is definitely up there, on par with contact lenses twice its price.
Sometime black/darker shades of contacts can look weird on me when i wear very minimal makeups, but i personally think they look pretty even when i have no makeup on (in this pic i obviously had some makeup on, but not much at all)
With full glam on. Under bright light you can easily see how grey the lenses are
Koko Black has four different variants : Gothic, Jet Black, Marble and Stone. I think Stone is the lighest one (hence it looking more grey than black) and obviously Jet Black is the darkest one (a lot of my blogger friends receives Jet Black and it's super black and more enlarging than Stone).
Like i already stated in the beginning of this post, i really enjoy Koko Black tremendously and i will definitely continue wearing them (i think they have 6 months wear time) and i would definitely highly recommend them to you all who are looking for comfortable, affordable, and a more natural (for Asian eyes) looking enlarging contact lenses (i am talking about Stone yeah, because it is the only variant that i've tried so far).

I would also definitely not hesitate to purchase them with my own money, i would get myself Stone again and i also wouldn't mind to try Gothic.

You can get Koko Black from www.spexsymbol.com .

Thank you Exoticon for sending me these and for the chance to try out your awesome products.
