South Korea Trip 2017 : Random Post 1 (Busan)
10:37:00 PMHey guys!
Like i mentioned in my previous South Korea trip post, imma extend my series because i found so many random posts that needs to be shared (because the world needs to know what i eat and drink on a daily basis! *LOL* :p) in my phone's gallery roll :D!
The view from our AirBnB apartment that we stayed in the first few days in Busan |
I found the photos from the very beginning of the trip! As we were taking Cathay Pacific (ohhh Cathay Pacific.... So many not-so-good memories with this airlines and their staffs, did you know that i went on a Facebook war with some of their local employees because i was sharing about my bad experiences with the airline *LOL*, just goes to show the level of the professionalism really! FYI, i have nothing against Cathy Pacific as a brand ofc, i just had some traumatizing memories while taking their flights - but the experience is enhanced thanks to those keyboard warrior employees of theirs :)))... Seriously WTF) we had to transit at Hong Kong. My mum wanted to get out of the airport since we had a pretty long transit time, but in the end it turned out to be a mistake because we got a bit lost and wandered aimlessly at a mall *LOLOLOL*.
Taking train to the city |
Wanted to find a foodcourt but wasn't successful so we ended up at this restaurant |
Hunny's fave : xiao long bao |
What dis. Can't remember. But i think it was pretty yum, just not sure what kind of egg dish it was hahaha |
Wefie with the 'rents |
We ended up having some very Chinese dessert at the airport. The red bean soup's yums |
While the black sesame soup... is not for me :p. No thanks. |
KC booked a room in the hotel in the airport for the parents to rest so we just crashed haha. If there were only youngsters in the trip, i would definitely opt to wait in the airport because the flight was at midnight anyway... We arrived at Busan early in the morning (KC and CL flew Thai Airways, which was like a few minutes apart from our flights so we just met up in the airport.
Then we head to the AirBnB area to drop our luggage and hoping for an early check in, as usual CL made all the bookings (this is why i love to travel with her LOLOLOL, i get to nua while she does all the work :P) and if i remember correctly our apartment was in Seomyeon area (which is one of the main shopping/night life area in Busan). It was so early that nope, none of the apartments were ready... And most of the shops in the area was still closed as well!!!
So we pretty much wandered aimlessly again *LOLOLOL* |
Thankfully after waiting in a burger joint, the stores started to open and at least we had something to see |
A very clean, very homey, very lovely studio apartment where we get to play house (as we stay in my parents' home in Surabaya, we don't really get to play house a lot haha) for a couple of days |
It's got everything we need, stove to cook, washing machine |
Dining table that were always full of my makeup *LOL* |
Spacious area in front of the tv |
Super comfy bed |
Instagrammable shelves |
I secretly want to live in a tiny apartment like this (but imma need another apartment to house my things tho...) so this apartment is actually like my dream house |
Super well stocked too |
The lovely bathroom |
Clean and fresh! |
They provide everything you can possibly need |
Even providing hair bands! The attention to detail was amazing and i think this is the best AirBnB we've ever stayed in so far |
The fridge |
With a little surprise inside. Yes, they even provide you with sheet masks to use! My heart! |
The utensils are also cute and not the crappy types! |
Seriously well stocked in everything |
Having coffee in bed, feeling totally blissful! |
I would rate this apartment (which i cannot give the AirBnB link because i don't have it *LOL*) an A+ and if i ever go back to Busan, i would totally love to stay here again (hopefully it would still be as clean and sparkling haha), the location is very good too as you only need to walk a little to shop/dine/get to the subway. I mean, under the apartment there's even a coffee shop! Talk about perfection....
I think Au got these from her university since it was Chuseok... It's Korean traditional cakes |
Spent the evening checking some cute stores and guess where i ended up shopping... H&M *LOLOL*, so typically me |
Too cute. I guess it was no cheap otherwise i would most probably get it as i love nothing more like a cute useless craps like this |
The next photo on my roll is actually my super humble lazy breakfast :
Looking more like a hooman on the second day |
First proper OOTD in Busan |
Lunch of the second day. Errr. Something jigae *LOL*, it's chicken i think... |
OMG what is dis. Something with tteoppoki *LOL*, bye all food endorsements... I am so not made for this |
And some mandu |
Didn't stop this one from getting magnetized to an oden stall. Eh, i don't know the right term for Korean oden... |
These 2 too |
My mom spent too much time in Daiso that we got tired hahaha |
Chestnuts! I just realize that i have no idea that chestnuts and water chestnuts are different but i am pretty sure this is water chestnuts??? Please do correct me if i'm wrong! |
Bought some |
A whole stretch of street selling Korean street food! |
We then made a trip to Au's university. It was on top of a hill and the air was super nice there. I didn't take lots of pics because i didn't want to look weird *LOL*, there were a lot of Au's friends leh! Also when we snuck in the dorm, we had to do it quietly since visitors are not supposed to get in (i think you can ask for permission but Au being Au, she never bothered and just snuck us in WTH).
Au then took us to the roof area to see this amazing view of Busan at night |
With that image, i am closing this random post ^^. I probably have two more of this type of post, i love writing it so much... Hope you enjoy reading it as much as i enjoy writing it!
