It's the final day of June and i haven't touched my blog one time, i really don't want to leave my baby un-updated for a whole month so i am dragging my a** in front of my computer and start blogging!
A little life update, i have been missing from the blog for pretty much the entirety of June but i have been super active in my Instagram (if you haven't follow me @Mgirl83 for goodness sake do it now -__-) because a few Influencer friends and i just started a new beauty community and it really took off! Been super busy managing it (the members, a truckload of projects also poured in super fast, it's such a blessing!) as well as taking loads of interviews with medias, dunno why this months medias are swarming me haha. Okay, enough self plug-in, let's get into the actual blog post finally haha.
This time round i have another local, great quality local lip cream to introduce to you : Look at Me (or LAM) Perfect LipFit Cream.

Oh in case you are wondering, yes it's a new picture. Covid 19 is still a real problem in Indonesia ofc, but things are starting to open up and i have cautiously started my new normal in the third week of June. If you are also staring your new normal, please please please stay safe! Stay away from crowds, don't go out too much (i went out probably once a week, usually to quiet cafes/restaurants to take endorsement photos), wear mask and arm yourselves with hand sanitizers!
I usually like to start my reviews by talking about the brand itself, but i honestly couldn't find much about LAM, i dig through their Instagram and found out that they are actually a pretty new brand - launched less than a year ago and their only product at the moment is this Perfect LipFit Cream.
So according to LAM, Perfect LipFit Cream is a Lip Barrier with UV Filter and Vitamins that are especially made with high quality ingredients. They have a healthy matte finish, are transfer proof and has breathable formula. They are also Paraben Free and Halal.
Let's see how they actually fare compared to the claims, shall we?

You probably also know that in Indonesia's beauty industry right now most brands come out with mostly nude shades, especially if they are independent brands (not attached to one of the bigger groups). I know nude shades are best sellers here as they are very safe and can be used by everyone - but as a beauty addict the trend bore the hell out of me >.< , i mean.. it's just super hard for me to be excited when one brand after another come out with similar color family lip collection. This is why i am super happy to see that LAM's color collection, although only 5, actually varies. There are only two shades that i would consider a "nude" shade so there are hues for every ladies out there with different preferences!
Formula wise, most of them (except one shade which i will get into detail later) are VERY pigmented, one coat is enough to cover my entire lips perfectly. They have lovely fruity candy scent (i know that everybody would be into such a gummy scent and honestly it's a bit disconnected with their sophisticated packaging, but i personally enjoy the scent although i totally recognize that they should probably go for a less juvenile scent haha).
I would describe them as a classic, true blue lip matte cream. You know, they dries down matte, lasts very long (still intact after full meals), pretty hard to remove (that arm swatches requires real effort to remove, it was not easy!) but you can definitely feel them on your lips. They are not super heavy (i have experienced heavier lip creams) but i would be lying if i am not aware that i have lip cream on the entire time they are on. Although heavy duty (seriously, they don't budge - one of the most heavy duty lip creams i've ever tried) and there is a slight stickiness (nothing major and my lips don't stick together when i close them or whatever. It's just not 100% tack free), they do not make my lips dry at the end of the day - which is important for me.
As for transferproof, they are actually pretty transferproof, but i personally always and would always recommend using lip balms before applying any lip color - and if you use a very slippery (mostly petroleum Jelly based lip balms are very slippery and glossy) then you'd notice a bit of transfer. You can avoid it by using non slippery type of balms (the ones that really sinks into your lips instead of sitting on your lips) but beware that this would make the removing process harder, you definitely need a good makeup remover to completely remove them without hassle.
Now let's talk about the shades.

| Out of the 5 shades, this one has a the thinnest, drier formula. It is the only one with sort of different texture, maybe because it's the brightest and the most different shade? I don't really know. As it has a thinner texture, it needed 2 coats for a full coverage and it dries down a lot faster then the others too. This is my least favorite shade as i am not a fan of both coral and neon, let alone together *LOL*, but it's a pretty shade for summer and those of you who appreciate neon shades better than i do |

| It's a true nude shade for me, it looks very pale in the lip swatch but it actually is not too pale at all for my skin tone (but yes, it would probably be too pale for deeper skin tones) |

| I actually never gravitate towards nude shades, whenever asked to choose between bold and nude lip shade i would always go for bold, but i cannot deny the fact that this type of nude shade actually looks really good on me *LOL*, it gives me a very soft, very innocent (like the name!), especially if paired with simple but bright eye look like this. I can see it being one of crowd's favorite. |

| Enthusiast is a bright red shade with orange hint. When it comes to reds, i prefer blue toned reds (you know, the cherry reds type) so i wasn't too enthusiastic when i see the strong orange hint in this lippie |

| But like Innocent, although it's not a shade that i gravitate towards, it actually looks good on me - as in i applied very fast and minimal makeup and this lippie, and i love the result that i took so much more pictures of myself coz i feel cute! LOL. |
And those are my thoughts on Look at Me Perfect LipFit Cream. If you are a fan of very pigmented, very long lasting lip creams that won't budge a whole day, i would highly recommend you to check this brand out, price wise it's not the cheapest but it's still pretty afforable at IDR 125,000 each. I totally enjoyed my experience with them, and how they make me feel pretty even when i am wearing shades that i am not normally a fan of *LOL*. Out of the 5, there is probably one shade (Precious) that i would not wear much, but the rest would definitely find their ways on my various looks.
