Food4Skin 22 : Lanore Skincare (SPONSORED)

Hey guys!

If you follow me on Instagram then you'd probably remember me gushing about Lanore's DD Cushion that i love very much (this is important because i don't usually like cushion products). This makes me curious about Lanore as a brand so i am pretty excited when Clozette Indonesia sent me these products from Lanore as i really want to get to know them and their products more.

Lanore skin care

So Lanore is a local Indonesian brand, they actually began by launching their makeup products first in 2017 and at 2018-2019 they also came up with skin care lines. Their tagline is Your Personal Beauty Partner, they aim to answer Indonesian women's skin needs for naturally beautiful skin (healthy, bright and hydrated). Lanore is the first cosmetic brand in Indonesia to offer beauty products with two benefit at once in their skincare and makeups which is Whitening and Antiaging formula. Btw, you can also learn more about Dermato Medical, in which Lanore is under, here.

Lanore skin care products that i got

One of their newest and most special products that is just introduced in 2019 is their serum. They have two types of serum and the one that i got is a very unique one (although the other one is also pretty unique, both get an A for presentation from me!) :

Lanore Intelgold Serum

It comes in a red and gold cardboard box, very eye catching!

Information of the products is very clear and detailed on the back of their box

How to use and ingredient list

The serum is made in Indonesia, but apparently not all of their products are produced in Indonesia. All of Lanore products are BPOM certified already so you don't have to worry about its safety

Packaging wise, the serum is very unique and luxurious looking. It comes in a slim and tall clickable bottle, it does feel very light and slightly flimsy but it certainly please my eyes with how pretty it looks. Each bottle contains 10gr of products

There is a button in the bottom that you click to release the serum, i love how innovative that is as most local skin care products don't usually pay that much attention and details to their packaging

There is even a locking system. It is a bit confusing as the turn is very undetectable (the turning is so stiff and short, you can never be sure if it it's already locked or not) so i have to constantly check if i already lock it or not haha, there is definitely room for improvement for their locking system

Even the dispenser part is unique!

They call the serum Integold and the actual serum really is gold in color with tiny specks of gold glitter!

The texture is runny and yes, you will have micro glitters on your skin after using it. Don't worry tho, the glitter really is fine so one, you won't feel it, and 2nd you can only see it if you really pay close attention to your skin. It's not like it's gonna turn you into a disco ball

Lanore Intergold Serum is made with Ionic Bond Biotechnology to help treat your skin's appearance to look younger. The Ion Bond Biotechnology works under your skin to help increase peptide distribution on your skin so that the gold particle in the serum can maximize how peptide dissolve and increase its effectiveness. This product is catered to women over 35 (OMG me T.T) and if you use it regularly can help restore skin's hydration and elasticity as well as reduce wrinkles.

FYI, i have only been using it for one week so this is in no way a complete review and more of a first impression - and so far i am liking it! It has a very pleasant, expensive beauty clinic type of scent that is very relaxing and the texture is so light, it gets absorbed into the skin very fast and leaves it smooth and silky without any trace of stickiness or greasiness.

You know i tend to struggle with serums, some serum are too rich that i have to use it on its own or my skin will develop white and black heads - while some are not rich enough but when i layer it, my skin would still protest. But so far i think my skin likes this serum (it usually reacts within 2-3 days so i usually know immediately if a serum would be suitable for my skin or not pretty fast) as it is very light and gentle that i can layer it with more intense moisturizer without any bad side effect.

I can already see how the serum helps my usual moisturizer to make my skin more supple and firm without breaking out so i can safely say that i do like this serum!

Next is a product that i am probably most excited about from the entire package :

Lanore Antiaging Hydrogel Eyepatch

All of their eye patches and sheet masks are made in Korea

This is how the eye patches looks like, you just gotta peel it and stick the sticky side under your eyes

Like this

I absolutely love eye patches! While my skin is very oily and has a very good texture especially for my age (36), my under eye areas are pretty dry so i always love to use hydrating eye patches to make the area more plump and hydrated.

Honestly, i prefer a thicker hydrogel, but this thinner layer of hydrogel (it's on the other side of the white tissue) is still nicer than those eye patches that are just soaked in essence.

Lanore Antiaging Hydrogel Eye Patch works to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around eye area using Transdermal Delivery System (TDS) technology that helps deliver active substance that is goof for your skin with combination of ADENOSINE + DIPALMITYOL HYDROXYPROLINE & CARICA PAPAY EXTRACT as antioxidant help reduce the appearance of aging as well as keeping skin's suppleness so that skin appears soft and smooth. Recommended usage is 2-3x a week.

And then i also get to try their sheet masks :

Lanore AntiAging Face Mask

Ingredient list. As i mentioned earlier, all of their masks are made in Korea

Their sheet mask's pretty generous in size so if you have bigger face than me (like my husband) then Lanore masks would still fit comfortably on your face

Lanore Antiaging Face Mask claims to reduce fine lines/wrinkles dan slow down aging process on your facial skin. This mask also uses the same TDS technology as the eye patch and contains moisturizer, Vitamin E, Adenosine, amd Coenzyme Q10 (an ingredient that i know and familiar with and has proven to hydrate and make my skin suppler. I can probably say that Coenzyme Q10 is one of my favorite ingredient on sheet masks) as antioxidant. Like the acne patch, it is recommended to use 2-3x a week for maximum effect.

This mask has a very cooling effect on my skin (unlike the eye patch, the cooling sensation lasts until i take it off), it has a gentle scent (in the same area as the serum, it emanate an expensive beauty clinic/facial product scent) that is calming and relaxing.

Both of the masks that i tried have thick, sturdy but still very soft tissue so it won't tear easily. The minus is because Lanore Antiaging Face Mask has a very thin essence that it gets absorbed a bit too much into the thick tissue. As the instruction says, i leave it for 30 minutes but before 30 minutes' even up, i can feel the mask drying and not sticking to my face anymore - but when i squeeze the mask, a lot of the watery essence still comes out meaning there is enough product in the sheet, it's just that the mask is a little too thick.

It is, however, very moisturizing. My skin feels very hydrated and even a little bit too sticky for my liking. I decided to rinse it a bit since it made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but i still end up with a very oily, very supple and very bouncy skin in the morning - totally recommended to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate your skin!

Lanore Whitening Face Mask

While the mask is exactly the same as the Antiaging one, the essence in this Lanore Whitening Mask is thicker and more opaque so the mask stays wet longer, it was still wet when i took it off after 30 minutes, but it leaves no stickiness behind! My skin still feels very moisturized and supple but this mask is a lot lighter than then Antiaging and therefore for more frequent use probably a better suit for my oily skin.

Lanore Whitening Mask claims to brighten and keep skin's hydration level using the same TDS technology with moisturizer, Vitamic B and E help giving nutrition to our skin making our skin feels softer and more radiant.

I like the result of both the Antiaging and the Whitening Mask and personally i would probably alternate between the two but using the Whitening more often as it's a lot more comfortable for me. If you have normal to dry skin, i would recommend to try the Antiaging one tho.

Overall, i had a pleasant experience with Lanore skin care products, i cannot make too much comment on the serum as i need longer period of usage to say anything specific, but the eye patch and the sheet masks are definitely nice and works well!

Don't forget to follow Lanore and Clozette Indonesia's Instagrams for more information, updates and promo!

Thank you Lanore and Clozette for the chance to try these awesome products ^^.

Sincerely,

Mindy

Food4Skin 10 : Clinelle WhitenUp (SPONSORED)

beauty

Hellooo helloooo ^^!

How's everybody doin' in this wet and rainy season (it's actually cold in Surabaya right now so i'm guessing it must be much colder in other parts of the world!). Has the weather changes mess with your skin? It sure does mine! Thankfully all the craziness that the changing weather doing to my skin is minimized by my lovely current skin care routine from Clinelle WhitenUp series!

I am currently using Clinelle's new line : Clinelle Whiten Up series

If you are a follower of this blog then you'd know that i am no stranger to Clinelle. I have tried and reviewed two of their other skin care lines before (you can read my Clinelle PureSwiss Hydracalm review here and also Clinelle Caviar Gold review here) and in general, they products are really good, high quality and kind to my skin so when i got the chance to try this new line out, of course i jumped on the chance happily ^^.

Happy box containing the full series of Clinelle WhitenUp series

The entire Clinelle WhitenUp line consists of six items from cleanser, toner, serum, day cream, night cream to spot corrector essence

Before we go into details onto the products one by one, let me refresh your memory on why Clinelle products are all super good : their concept is "7 Secrets to the Happy Skin with 7 No's" - so all of their products contains none of these 7 dangerous ingredients :

1. No artificial coloring

2. No artificial scent

3. No lanolin

4. No mineral oil

5. No SD-Alcohol

6. No comedoegenic ingredients

7. No paraben .

Now, we all know that sunlight is the main source of UV rays (fun fact : UV rays continue to damage your skin for more than 4 hours after exposure...) that causes premature aging skin (which appears in forms of dark spots, pigmentation, uneven tone and dull skin) but do you know that according to a study published in the American Academy of Dermatology, electronic devices are also capable of emitting UV rays too?? Heh what??? Omo omo, NOOOOO.... But yes, it's true. Electronic gadgets (oh you evil computers!!!) emit low UV rays which will cause cumulative damage to our skin over time T.T (yep, indoor UV means our exposure to UV rays are increased by 85%!). That means our skin is continuously exposed to UV rays regardless - whether we stay indoor or outdoor. Yeah, reality check here...

Clinelle understands this situations, that's why they combine two elements : technology and natural and come up with Clinelle WhitenUp that is especially formulated with the most advanced formula : inspired from beauty and art, supported by Advanced Anti-Photoaging Technology that can brighten and protect your skin from UV rays at all time. Yes, 24/7, day and night, thank you very much!

All of Clinelle WhitenUp series contains 3 key ingredients :

* Purple rice extract that works to enhance the efficacy of Vitamin C to promote fairer skin

* Vitamin C : a powerful antioxidant to improve skin texture, inhibits melanin formation and stimulate collagen formation

* Daisy Flower Extract prevents skin darkening and reduces pigmentation.

Especially for the night cream, there is a an additional key ingredient : Great Mullein Flowers that absorbs harmful UV radicals and transforms into a source of light to illuminate skin from within.

Sounds great, yeah? Let's see how each and every one of the products performs on my skin and my thoughts on them, shall we?

Ofc, everything must start with the cleanser!

Step one : WhitenUp Brightening Cleanser - 100ml, IDR 99,000
The cleanser comes in a lavender colored (the unique color of the line) squeeze plastic tube with flip top

Ingredient list

The cleanser comes in a light gel form, as it is quite liquidy you might want to take care not to squeeze the tube too hard or too much product would spill out

Like all of other Clinelle cleansers that i've tried before, the brightening cleanser also doesn't lather very much but turns into pasty foam when mixed with water

Clinelle WhitenUp series has this fresh, citrusy scent that is very uplifting and refreshing - including the cleanser. It is very pleasant and gentle on my skin, but able to cleanse thoroughly without leaving my skin feeling tight or dried out. It works very well on both my oily skin (my skin is oily but slightly dehydrated lately) and also on hunny's sensitive, dry skin - so i am confident to say that this cleanser is fab and suitable for most skin types.

Clinelle WhitenUp Brightening Toner - 120 ml, IDR 149,000

Okay so the packaging of this toner alone is enough to win me over. I LOVE toners that come in a spray bottle form because it just makes everything so much more practical! Yes, i admit, i am lazy okay, anything that makes my skin care routine faster, i appreciate!

The Clinelle WhitenUp toner is again, very gentle and pleasant to use. I always look forward to spray it generously to my skin after i wash my face (pat the excess into skin). It never stings even if i got an open acne scar or anything, that's how gentle it is - and it's also very moisturizing. I admit, sometimes i would go about with whatever i am doing and forget to add more moisturizer just because my skin already feels so good and hydrated after using only the toner! The toner is quite possibly my fave product out of the line! Not only it brighten skin tone and clarity, soothes and hydrate skin with 6 essential oils, it also works to refine pores and tone skin. Don't skip toner because it helps to improve the absorption of subsequent products!

Third step is serum!

Clinelle WhitenUp Brightening Serum - 20ml, ID 299,000

Ingredient list

I have yet to find Clinelle's serum that i don't like and this one is also no exception, i love it!

The serum comes in a plastic bottle that looks and feels luxurious

And it comes with a lovely pump mechanism

The texture of the serum is very light, watery gel-like and it gets absorbed into the skin super fast without leaving any stickiness or greasiness behind

Clinelle WhitenUp Serum is a highly concentrated serum for fast and effective brightening result. It prevents and lighten pigmentation, improve overall dull skin and even out skin tone, promote skin radiance and brighten - also makes skin firmer and lifted.

It is no secret that i can't use serum and day or night cream together because my super oily skin would react in white heads from the richness, so for me i alternate using the serum and night cream every other day. I did try to layer them but it does feel a bit too moisturizing for my skin type so i find alternating them works better. I truly love the serum tho (i love all of Clinelle's serum, their Caviar Gold one i the only serum that i've used until the very last drop!), it really makes my skin feels super mochi like, firmer and hydrated without making my skin oilier than it already is. Another fave!

Step four is the spot correcter essence :

Clinelle WhitenUp Brightening Spot Corrector Essence - 15ml, IDR 259,000

The spot corrector essence comes in a small squeeze tube bottle

The texture is silky rich, thicker gel that pretty much melts into my skin leaving a smooth and silky feeling behind

The high potency spot corrector essence works to visibly reduce pigmentation, lighten dark spots and scars, also to reduce discoloration and improve skin tone.

I personally think that it takes time to lighten up dark spots (and it should. Products that lighten skin up overnight most probably contains something harmful!) and i also don't really have a lot of dark spots to try them on. But during my trial of this line, i did get a few new acne scars (period happens, you know!) and i took the chance to try out the spot corrector essence and i must say that i notice it helps those scars to fade away much faster than when i normally let them be!

Now onto the last step for day time:

Clinelle WhitenUp Brightening Day Cream SPF 20 - 40ml, IDR 239,000

Y'all know that one of my biggest beauty crime is that i often don't use sunscreen, but now i try to at least always use day cream with SPF okay!

The Day Cream comes in a smaller, wider squeeze tube similar to the cleanser

The texture is creamy but not too thick and it spreads easily and gets absorbed well into my skin fast. It's not like it's 100% non greasy but it feels very manageable on my skin (most sunscreen feels super slick and oily on my skin i just can't stand them!). It also works well under makeup and doesn't make my makeup melt or become a greasy mess any faster than normal, in fact it makes base makeup application a breeze because it makes my skin hydrated and smooth

I brought the entire line to our Bali trip and use them all religiously, especially the day cream and they definitely helps keeping my skin healthy and protected even under the harsh beach sun!

And for nightime the last step would be :

Clinelle WhitenUp Brightening Night Cream - 40ml, IDR 269.000

The night cream comes in a luxe jar

With extra lid to prevent the product to get everywhere and spatula to ensure the cream stays hygienic and germ free

The texture of the night cream is actually a lot lighter than i expected, it's almost like a hybrid of cream and gel, spreads super easily and gets absorbed immediately into my skin without any greasiness or stickiness, leaving my skin super silky smooth and supple

I am normally not a fan of night creams (if i have a serum in my skin care line, i would much prefer to use the serum and skip the night cream) but this one is a total exception. Is it not heavy or sticky like how most night creams can be, and when i use it - i wake up with hydrated skin but without the super sticky, heavy feeling - which is awesome of course!

Like i mentioned earlier, in Clinelle Brightening Night Cream there is an extra ingredient, making it one of the hero products of the line. From the yellow flower called Great Mullien Flower, they extracted LUMINESCINE : the power, revolutionary ingredient that does the round-the-clock UV Protection. The highly effective ingredient absorbs harmful lights and reflects it out on skin. This is making the skin looks naturally radiant and glowing from within. It is a critical step to overcome premature skin aging and to prevent skin darkening.

I have been using Clinelle WhitenUp series for 3 weeks now, i brought it to travel to Bali with me and never missed a day of usage so i know the full potential of this line. My skin stays fair and bright, even after being exposed to super strong Bali sun for almost a week. I didn't get any negative experience with any of the products, in fact i personally think it works very very well for my skin. It also helps my skin to behave, and didn't go crazy like how it can be when i travel. I did get a few breakout due to PMS, but it is to be expected and not aggravated from the use of the line at all - so yeah, i definitely had a pleasant experience with this line and have nothing but praises for them!

Would highly recommend everybody to try out this line, now that we know that we can't escape UV rays even if you are a hermit who prefer to stay indoor at all times haha!

Thank you Clinelle for the chance to try out your awesome products, i love them!
