Today's review is i believe another first, i don't think i've reviewed a hair brush before? And it's a super cute one from a Korean brand called Eyecandy : Eyecandy Rainbow Hair Brush!

As someone with super fine, super straight hair, i don't normally use hair brushes. On a daily basis, i hardly comb my hair *LOL*, but after washing it i would part my hair and comb it a little bit with a big toothed comb, and i am good to go. But ever since i went a little dye and bleach happy, my hair does become a little bit harder to manage. The ends are a little more dry and gets tangled easily - since so many people swears by this type of brush typically known as detangling brush, i finally decided to give it a try to see if it really does make a difference *it does btw, LOL*.

Eyecandy itself is a South Korean beauty brand focusing on hair tools, hair brushes specifically (they also have other products like hair dryer and curling brushes but most of their products are hair brushes). Their aesthetic is very kawaii, bright, neon and fun - simply speaks to my soul haha.

Eyecandy Rainbow Hair Brush Compact edition - i chose this one because i want to bring it to my travels, if you want a more easy to grip then you can choose the Medium or Large brushes from the same Rainbow line. Oh yeah, each type comes with two color choices, hot pink or black. Since the pink is so cute (even though i normally prefer a lighter pink) ofc i went for the pink instead of the black one

Let's learn about the product first :

Eyecandy Rainbow Hair Brush is special because they have the patented S-curl teeth brush, which is uniquely theirs

Mostly they claim their benefits are to volumized the hair and also to detangle

They are hand made in Korea!

Don't be alarmed when you see a hole in your brush :))

It's easy to clean as well, which can be an issue with these type of brushes if the teeth part isn't detachable! It'd be hard to clean easily and effectively

The compact version also comes with a mirror so you do not compromise the mirror when you choose the compact one ^^

This is how the actual Eyecandy Rainbow Hair Brush looks like, it comes in 2 pieces : the brush and the mirror, it's pretty small so i can hold it in my palm easily but also wide enough to use comfortably

When you want to store it, all you have to do is push the bristles in 

Tell me i am not the only one who thinks this is like Sailor Moon compact or something, too cute!!! When you want to use it, simply push the black part out 

And the colorful rainbow teeth would be released :D

Come with a mirror for some easy brush up

The brush and the mirror can be attached together and when closed, it looks like a thick mug coaster :))

It's very slim, light and easy to bring around. Small enough to slip into your hand bag without taking too much space

The body is made from velvety, rubbery material

No more bad hair day haha!

Even though it is mostly marketed to volumize hair and i do notice that my hair does become fluffier and more volumized when i brush it, but realistically speaking if you live in a hot, humid, tropical countries like i do, a hair brush is simply not enough to give your hair volumes. Especially if you have very fine and limp hair like i do - you need an army of dry shampoo, baby powder and hot volumizing brush to get that puoffy roots *LOL*. 

But as a detangler, it works superbly! As always, i was quite the skeptic when i first tried it, so i was very pleasantly surprised when this brush glides easily on my wet or dry hair without tugging, untangling and neatening it without any effort on my part! Am i a convert now? Hell yea i am, i can't wash my hair and not use this brush afterwards now!

I know that wet brushes are very in now and you might be tempted to get the famous branded ones, but seriously... Why spend so much on a brush when you can grab this Eyecandy one that is pretty much works the same way and easier on the pocket?

I personally would highly, highly recommend it to all of you who has hair *LOL*! Whether you have thick, coarse, curly hairs (which frankly speaking, can benefit so much more from this brush) or finer, straight and limp hair, we all need a gentle brush to help us detangle/brush our hair without damaging our scalp/pull out hairs unnecessarily. Hair are even more fragile when it is wet, and most of us would want to brush our hair right after we get out of shower so using a very gentle and kind type of brush is totally preferable.
