Hey guys!!!
How's the weather where you are? It's currently scorching hot in Surabaya, a very fast change from the never ending heavy thunderstorms that we experienced for many months before. While the weather is changing drastically, one of the thing that is most affected other than our health is the condition of our skin - some might experience break out while others get allergy attacks. If you are one of those who are affected and looking for a skincare product that might help, you are in luck because today i am going to share with you all about Natural Derma Project's Cica Bio-Placenta Cream that is targeted to help with problematic skin.

Natural Derma Project Cica Bio-Placenta Cream |
Natural Derma Project is not a brand that i am familiar with yet, again it is not a brand that is easy to find information about since even the main website is entirely in Korean (you can check Natural Derma Project's translated website here). As usual, i am going to do my best to give you as much information on the product as well as a full review of my very own experience with it.
So this Cica Bio-Placenta Cream is not your regular moisturizer but it has so much more benefits as it is a skin recovery cream and can help you retain your smooth and healthy skin. When do you need this product?
If you have uneven skin surface due to scars, sensitive and/or acne prone |
The claims that they have are pretty tempting, especially if you do have a problematic skin. Is this the answer to all people with acne prone, sensitive skin? Hehe. Let's read on to find out! |
It works in three ways, from erasing skin's troubles, to recovers and calms skin - and it doesn't stop there because it continues to increase skin's immunity against future problems |
Btw if the words placenta (which is an organ that forms during pregnancy) alarms you, don't worry!!! Cica Bio-Placenta's main ingredients are derived from plants ^^! It is formed in resemblance to human placenta but that's not where it is harvested from haha. |

A bit more information on how close the functions of Bio-Plancenta works in comparison to human placenta (which has skin recovery, wrinkle and skin elasticity improvement as well as cell activation effects) |

It also contains a very special ingredient : Bio Water! |
Why Bio Water is so good for your skin |
Natural Derma Project Cica Bio-Placenta Cream has a 4 weeks skin recovery success and already tested :
Whew. I know, that's a lot of information to absorb. But since it is a pretty unusual, very special ingredient that i don't think i've ever touched in this blog, i thought it's very important for us all (me totally included) to get ourselves educated on it and its benefits to fully understand what this product is all about.
Now let's go down to the nitty gritty ^^!
The cream comes in an off white cardboard box that gives off an organic, natural look |
It calls itself a Recovery and Cure Cream and that pretty much sums up what it is in one short sentence haha |
Directions and ingredient list is available in English in the box, already a plus for a Korean cosmetic brand because usually they are all in Korean only |
The Korean side |
The box opens up in an interesting, origami-look style |
It comes in a clean designed glass jar |
You can trust the Koreans to always come up with an extra lid and spatula to ensure your product's hygiene |
So the texture of the cream is actually completely gel with a very attractive green-aqua shade |
The gel is very light, watery and gives a very cooling sensation to the skin |
It gets absorbed super fast into the skin, leaving the skin super smooth and soft immediately without any trace of grease nor stickiness. Just like its super refreshing and thirst-quenching visual, the gel has a very fresh scent with just a hint of bitterness.
Due to its very light and easy to absorb texture, i totally thought that it is going to be a lightweight type of cream - WRONG! It is very deeply moisturizing that just within an hour or so of application, my skin do feel pretty oily but super hydrated. Because of this, i do not think this is the best cream to use under makeup for oily skin because it does make my makeup disintegrate and break up much faster than normal, i prefer to use it at night as a deep moisturizing night cream (if you have a more problematic skin that really needs help, then using it twice a day is recommended).
I am going to be totally honest with you, when i first used it for a week or so, i like it but didn't see anything special about it. This turned out to be because my skin was in tip top condition. It moisturizes and make my skin soft and supple, but that's about it.
Fast forward to a few days ago, i picked it back up after i just finished my period and my skin was in its worst condition : dull, speckled with black, white heads and even a few active acne - in summary my skin was a mess and it makes me sad whenever i wash my face because i could feel its rough and unevenness. Within days of re-using Cica Bio-Placenta, i saw my skin improves dramatically. It becomes so much smoother, helps dry out all the acne and make the white heads super easy to remove - all the while keeping my skin super soft and hydrated! I definitely fell head over heels over this cream immediately :)). I can safely say that they are not playing when they say they are a recovery and cure cream because it does just that!
I also use it on my hunny's super dry and sensitive skin and it helps making his skin super soft and hydrated, i think his skin is currently in its best condition! So this cream works well not only on skin with acne and or unevenness problems, but also for dry, deeply dehydrated skin.
Based on my experience, if you already have a very healthy and balanced skin, you might not see much of a difference after using this product (at least not immediately) - but if your skin is its less than perfect condition then this cream would help you restore its condition and you might feel the effect pretty fast.
I do think that it is very pricey, but if you have a problematic skin (or occasionally suffer from skin problems like me, maybe around your period if you are a woman) and want to invest (and have the budget to do so), i do highly recommend you to give this Cica Bio-Placenta Cream a try. Please do remember that every skin is different, i am not saying that this is a miracle cream that will make all skin amazing, but based on my experience on two very different skin types, it does perform 2/2, exceptionally well.
If you are interested in this product don't forget to get it at my Charis Shop for the special price, you can also browse the rest of my Charis Shop to see and get other products that i also recommend and especially curate for you ^^.
