South Korea Trip 2017 : Random Post 2 (Seoul)

Hey guys!

More random and incoherent photos from my Seoul Trip (yes, this series is proven to be never ending as well).
Yes, we took bullet train again to Seoul (do you know that air ticket's cheaper than bullet train? I didn't... :)))...). Please remind me next time that dark eyebrow with naked eye makeup is a no no for me.
My whole family's like, can't survive without stuffing our faces so a must stop before boarding the train is the snack corners.
Korean traditional cakes are so pretty, unfortunately most of the taste don't agree with my Javanese tastebud
Even though Korea is not Japan, you can still see super cute things even in bakeries
See what i'm talking about?
Puss in Boots and Gingerbread Man drinks, who can resist? Totally overprices ofc, but let's face it we're paying for the bottle and not what's inside it
OOTD at the train station (i screeched "faster faster!" at all time as usual ofc)
We then head to our AirBnB first and got culture shocked. After staying in such a beautiful, comfy and clean AirBnB in Busan for a cheaper place, we had to face the fact that the #1 city in any country is always bound to be expensive AF. The apartment we rented was kinda run down, not as clean and it costs a lot more *LOL*.
It's a lot smaller too (compared to the same loft style apartment that my parents stayed in the previous apartment in Busan)
Mum claimed her bed immediately and there is just no way in hell i could shush her. The white pillar in the left is actually the stair to the loft (where hunny and i slept in. You know, the space that we had to crawl in). Fun fact : i pee A LOT especially when i am about to fall asleep, i have to repeatedly pee to empty my bladder (i guess it's kind of a bad habit too) before i can really sleep and i HATE stairs, especially the scary ones like this one so imagine how miserable i was having to continuously creeping up and down the stairs to access the bathroom (there is only one bathroom, obvi). Especially when i had to pee mid sleep (yes, this happens a lot too), imagine me - blur as sotong, blind as a mole, stumbling around scary stairs. It's a miracle i didn't break my neck at some point
The stove, sink and washing machine all rolled into one *LOL*. Again, i forgot to take a pic of the loft. WTH is wrong with me
As it was my parents' first time in Seoul, we took them to Myeongdong for some street food. Between my mum, hunny and CL, we tried too many to count. I also seem to forgot to snap pics of most of them -___-.
We also found this cray cat character that suddenly gave up on life and just laid there at the side walk *LOL* (he was forcefully but lazily giving out brochures btw LOL)
I did managed to snap a pic of this... snail thingy. It's so huge and tough. No no, there are so many better things to have in Myeongdong than this
Blurry pic of this... What the hell is this. I think it's the egg bun/bread thingy (it was hyping when we were there), it was too sweet for our liking (i mean, i would prefer my egg breads to be savory). And yeah, that's it. I forgot to take pics of the 8563259 other snacks that we got including the lobster *LOL*
Was craving for something sweet so we ended up at Osulloc
I love azuki but i despise matcha so i refused to touch this
We head back afterwards because we had an appointment with One Day Hanbok the next day.
Did a colorful makeup because i planned on wearing pastel colored hanbok
Transformed *LOL*. Btw you can read my review on One Day Hanbok here and also see more photos of me pretending to be a Korean princess here
Obviously the food that is Princess worthy. Bimbimbap. LOLOLOL
Lovey dovey :)). It was sadly a rainy day that we were worried that we wouldn't be able to take photos or even get to the palace. Thankfully it cleared up enough for us to proceed ^^
I am not a fan of central Seoul because it's too busy and crowded, but i love the quieter areas like this one (i think this area is called Bukchon? Because it's where One Day Hanbok is and One Day Hanbok listed Bukchon as the address *LOL*
After returning the Hanbok, we randomly found this restaurant that serves kebab style meat and it would be roasting right in front of you.
So this is literally on our table and the grill's automatic (it moves and twirl the metal stick gently)
And let's jump into the next day while we're at it!
Recycling my clothes because i literally wore it for an hour the day before as i wore the hanbok for majority time of the day
Went to Insadong, which is a very cool, artsy area. Now, although it is busy and packed, the vibe is very different to the modern, fast paced area like Myeongdong - and i prefer it!
Apparently i make a lot of enemies lately so it is very appropriate for me to be seated with Trump and Kim Jong Un LOLOL
Au insisted on this sundae because it's apparently very pricey and she couldn't afford it normally coz she is a broke student *LOL*
The expensive sundae. You get to bring home the glass but it's made of thin plastic so it's gonna break if you try to keep it in your bag *LOL*
Must selfie coz expensive
One more one more hahahaha
More pic of our random meal that i don't even remember about... Oh wait, it just came back to me now. Yeah, i remember the place and stuffs, not that it's any significance coz i can't explain to you anyway other than that it was in Insadong *LOL*
Oh come on, did we get more bimbimbap???
I now grow intolerance to fish (and most seafood) T.T. All of a sudden. Looking at pictures of grilled or fried fish makes me sad now hik
LOL more samgyetang
Ew *LOL*. Look at the thick fat *shudder*
Happy to find the winter Olympic's mascots i think this is already in Dongdaemun area
Cute spots, unwilling photographer. Well. I need Olin or Angel for the next trip!!!
So then i have no idea what happened but i think we were trying to find our way home but we stumbled into a... is it even a river? Or a creek? It was getting very dark already and the super blurry photo didn't do it any justice *LOL*
It doesn't look like much but it's actually quite romantic in real life, quite a lot of people were there enjoying the environment
Seriously why it looks so bad in the photo *LOL*. If it's in Indonesia it'd most probably be full of trash and street snack sellers :)). Oh and mosquito too
And thennn we stumbled into a market. I have no memories whatsoever about the market's name but when i Googled, the name Gwanjang Market sounds familiar so... I'm guessing it's Gwanjang Market maybe?
Look, maybe it's me who's ignorant but i thought most wet market closed at night? Imma be honest and tell you i don't think i've ever really been into a local wet market so i am so not qualified to say this
There are TONNES of stalls selling food too, famous ones too as i see some has photos of Running Man (and other reality shows i am less familiar with) having meal there
Now i remember why i took this pic. LOOK. AT. THAT. TENTACLES
Can't remember why i snapped pic of this stall
One of the famous stalls, the one that Running Man had meal previously *LOL* (yes, i am a fan of Running Man so for me if Running Man was there, it must be famous)
Guess what they're having... yes, another bibimbap. They claimed this one's different as it's very traditional and simple so it's nicer? I am fussy so i prefer commercialized bibimbap *LOL*, it's worth visiting and trying for the experience tho!
Imma stop here! Continue again soon!
