Review : Organic Tea Tree and LED Facial Treatment at Oriskin

Have you been looking for a recommended skin clinic to do treatments lately? If you have then you are in for a treat because today i have a review (a glowing, positive one!) for a recommended skin clinic that i went to recently : Oriskin!

Oriskin is a pretty well known skin clinic in Indonesia, it has quite a lot of branches spread all around Indonesia and there is one in my hometown, Surabaya too ^^.

Actually i've been to Oriskin Surabaya once before at their Grand Opening a few years ago but i haven't had the chance to try out their treatments so i am very excited when Clozette Indonesia gave me the chance to try out the Organic Tea Tree and LED Facial Treatment at Oriskin. It's also a treatment that i've never heard of before let alone experience, so i was doubly as excited - especially since i've been so stressed out and tired lately and it shows on my skin so i REALLY need some pampering!

I was welcomed warmly at once and asked to fill in my information

And i didn't have to wait long before my esthetician to usher me to the treatment area.

There are quite a few treatment beds in the area (and there are multiple rooms too) so you can go have treatments with your friends (i personally love to go with my friends/mom for treatments) but if you go alone then they would draw the curtain to give you privacy.

If you are with company, you can be close with them and converse too haha (which i normally do whenever i go with a friend)

Now, i am personally pretty used to facials as i used to go for facials every month (lately i don't go as often as i have no time >.<) but this facial is pretty unique and different than other facial treatments that i've tried in the past. Organic Tea Tree and LED Facial Treatment  is a treatment to cleanse, protect skin's hydration, accelerate blood circulation that resulting in face appear fresher and softer. If you ever feel like your skin is dull and lacklustre due to UV exposure, pollution and exposure that causes your skin to be dry - this treatment is recommended for you.

As i have been super tired, stressed out and experiencing allergy attacks constantly, this treatment is definitely beneficial for me too. 

The first step is ofc, cleansing. My esthetician was very thorough but super gentle. I also love the fact that she was so informative and knowledgeable, she gave me quite a few tips to care for my sensitive skin at home during the treatment without being too chatty so i was very comfortable

After cleansing, it was followed immediately by facial massage and pressure point massages that thoroughly relaxes me that i almost fell asleep

Next step : scrub

After scrubbing off dead skin cells from my face, the esthetician then continued with the next step which is called Oxy. Oxy is essentially is mixing serum with water and using a special machine that blows pretty strong wind to infuse it into your skin immediately. 

The pressure is pretty strong that you can actually see indentation on you skin where the tool's pointed!

As the pressure is quite big, some people might experience a little shortness of breath (which is warned beforehand) but i was totally fine, i even enjoyed the process as it was so cooling and refreshing hehe. The esthetician gave me directions to hold my breath whenever she is about to do my nose area, this is very important as i might start choking and panicking otherwise! Oh yeah, because the noise is pretty loud too, the esthetician plug my ears with cottons - this type of attention to details is really what makes a difference!

After Oxy, the esthetician applied peel off mask which she changed from the original (she was about to use the Chamomile one) because she noticed i had some hormonal spots that day so she told me she is using the Green Tea instead to calm my skin down

As you might notice from the treatment's name, there is LED on it : yes, the LED light. 

LED light is used for Light Theraphy that can be beneficial for Anti-Aging and Acne treatments. It is painless, relaxing and non-invasive with multiple benefits like stimulating collagen and treating mild to moderate acne

My eyes were shielded with cotton pads to protect them from the light so they helped me took this pic ^^. They use the combination of blue and green light because of the condition of my skin at that time

And while i had my mask on with the LED light shone on me, they gave a mean hand and food massage, making this a thoroughly pampering session!

Full body massage is not for me but i really enjoy head, shoulder and hand massages! It was soo good!

There is no extraction in this facial but after removing the mask (again, they showed professionalism by being super gentle and made sure i experienced zero pain by wetting the edges first. It's probably the gentlest peel off mask removal i've ever experienced!) they have a step that's called Ozone where they pretty much "zapped" your trouble areas (the ones with acnes especially) to kill bacterias and dry your acnes up.

It feels like laser treatments, not a walk in the park but i wouldn't call it painful either - you can ask them to lower the strength if it hurts

And they also applied anti irritation cream (continued with sun block as it was still in the afternoon) to make sure your skin is irritation free.

And is that a wrap? Oh no, they still had another step : Oxy for your scalp!

A truly head to toe kind of pampering and i enjoyed it tremendously, i feel so spoilt :D!

Other than the fact that the whole treatment is so pampering and i felt so rejuvenated afterwards, i also am super happy with the treatment because i can see the result pretty much instantly.

I think you can visibly see how my skin is brighter, clearer, smoother and even the lines around my mouth are smoothen out!

Unlike other facials, my makeup the next day went on smoothly (usually after facials i would experience peelings!) and my hormonal acne marks fades visibly, with just one treatment!

I hope y'all don't think i'm over hyping coz i am sponsored or anything, i just.. Truly and madly in love with Centella Asiatica skincares (please note that every skin is different, Olin isn't particularly fond of Centella Asiatica based products while it's like an instant magic ingredient for mine). I can honestly say now that this cream and mask from Centellian 24 is the best so far. If i loved the M+ Madecassoside Cica Cream, i am CRAZY for this one - i will explain the difference later and why i am using both.

Centellian 24 is called that because it is aimed at 24 year old female skin (OMG :)), i am 12 years too old but it works so well on my 36 year old skin so well, what can i say?) and keeps your skin moisturized for 4 hours. When i read this i was a bit confused, is the Madeca Cream meant to be used like a moisturizer or as spot treatment? Do i did a bit of research online and found out it can be used as both - so i use it all over my face every night and add thicker layer on spots and acnes

Yes, let's talk about the cream first :

The texture is actually quite light, like a hybrid between gel and lotion and it's not very creamy

Who are supposed to use this cream? According to them, if you have any of these problems then you are the right person to use it : 

Although i personally think that it can be beneficial for all skin as i don't have a lot of acne problem, no freckles and very minimal wrinkles but i personally have seen a LOT of (overnight) improvement by using it - and so does my hunny who has dry, sensitive skin! But remember, not everything that work so well on our skin will be 100% great for you too, but based on our experience i am confident to recommend this product to most skin type

Although the cream is quite light, it is very rich as it leaves my skin quite greasy - nothing crazy or major, but enough for me not to want to use it during day time and definitely not under makeup as i have oily skin. This and my natural sebum, my makeup will melt off under and hour no no no, i do use it as spot treatment any time of the day tho. I actually have greasy feeling on my skin, but as the result is so amazing, i actually don't mind using this every night now haha.

I see improvement and positive effect after ONE use, my skin feels so much more smoother, acne free (but please note that i don't have an acne prone skin in the first place, but it's even more clearer after using this) , tighter and brighter. After using it diligently for weeks, my skin is in its best condition in a long while and i am absolutely besotted hehe. 

If you read my review on M+ Madecassoside Cica Cream you'w know that my skin reacts really well with this cream too and i see improvements within days - but Centellian 34 Madeca Cream is like M+ on steroid *LOL*, the improvement is pretty much instantaneous and it keeps on improving the longer i use it. 

BUT i am personally going to keep using BOTH creams because as much as i love this Madeca Cream, i already mentioned that i cannot use it during day time as it is not very comfortable for my naturally oily skin (while the M+ one is still fine) so i will stick to M+ for day time and use the Madeca Cream every night. Maybe if you have a very dry, dehydrated skin then you can use it during day time and under your makeup too, but i really cannot comment on that as i have the opposite skin type and can only be using it maximally and comfortably at night.

This cream feels soothing on my skin but on areas with acne and skin imperfection, i do feel it tingles and makes my skin feels tender for a little while. As an acne treatment, it's superb too! It calms my zits down super fast, dry them out and repair my skin twice as fast if not more compared to my other acne treatments. And like M+, this product is actually good for dry skin too (especially if you have acne AND dry skin! Finding the right cream can be a nightmare, and i am honestly highly recommend you to try this) as it hydrate my hunny's skin deeply and doesn't dry out his skin at all.

The cream does come in 2 sizes, 15 ml (only IDR 182.000 on my Charis Shop!) and 50ml (IDR 348,000), which one i recommend? Without hesitation i would say save your money and get the 50ml one as it will last you a while and your skin will thank me *LOL*, but if you do have very limited budget, still want to try it out or only want to use it as a spot treatment then i guess the 15 ml one is okay too although my kiasu heart is screaming at you haha.

Now let's move on to the only mask sheet that makes me fall head over heels in love :

Centellian 24 Madeca Derma Mask II - a box of 10 for IDR 287,000

But unlike the cream, the mask actually comes with English info and instruction

FYI, i have one left by now and i am crying... But i am going to repurchase with my own money for sure, and that's a first for sheet masks. That's how much i love it

Yeah well, they say to save it for the most needed moments, i can't. I love it so much i want to use it at least twice a week zzz

The sheet is pretty standard, thick enough for it not to tear easily, but super soft and gentle to the skin

As the concept is pretty similar to M+, i cannot help but compare the two. While i do love the M+ cream, i wasn't a fan of the sheet mask as they were way too rich, too sticky, too greasy and it actually gives me white heads from being too rich. On the contrary, this Madeca Derma Mask II has just enough serum (the left over in the pack is enough to apply on my arms and legs without being too much) and it feels super comforting on my skin - but beware that if your skin is acting up like mine during allergy attacks, it can make your skin feels a but warm, tingling and tender for a little bit - it also can be felt on each acne! But for me apparently it's a sign that the product is working to repair and improve my skin as my skin is immediately improved after use, even allergy flares are soothe a bit afterwards!

It leaves my skin soft and silky without it being too greasy (yes, it's still a bit greasy like how all sheet mask feels ofc) to a point where i have to rinse off (like the M+ one) and i just LOVE how it makes my skin look and feel. Whenever i have allergy attacks that leaves my skin with dry spots or when PMS brings hormonal acne, the first thing i want to do is slap this mask sheet on as i know it will make my skin better immediately! 

If you don't know yet, i am not a fan of sheet masks. I much prefer peel off/wash off mask as i find application of sheet mask is tedious and bothersome, i also have peeling the mask off and trying to fit it into my face, i have how most of them makes me feel sticky afterwards - i am just not a fan in general - but i have tried a LOT of sheet masks i feel pretty much the same about them, none of them successfully make me a convert and none of them makes me want to spend my own money on them - until this one. As much as i hate the process, i crave the result so much i am willing to put it on twice a week. I actually used only one or two on hunny then i decided i want them all for me so i put on a different mask on him instead *LOL*, it works super well on his skin too but he can benefit from other masks while i struggle to find one that i love so all Madeca Derma Mask II are for me!!!

If you have any skin problems like acne, allergies, dry spots and dehydration, i would highly HIGHLY recommend this mask to try. I would actually recommend both the cream and the mask for maximum result! Lip-Talk 42 : ARRA Beauty

You should all feel special because it is my birthday and i chose to spend the last hours of if writing a review for you *LOL*,

And an appropriate one, as i am getting on year older (that much closer to ancienity *sigh*) i definitely appreciate products that have anti aging properties in it (because i want to be frozen in time and look 21 forever hahaha). Aging happens to us in every part of our bodies, including our lips - therefore it is important for us to take care of our lips - the earlier the better - that's why this product that i am going to review today is very interesting and appealing : ARRA Beauty, a lip cosmetic brand with anti aging formula. Their products contains emollient that beautifies your lips inside out.

ARRA Beauty itself is a higher end local beauty brand that i have been eyeing for a while, especially because of their pretty packaging and also rave reviews about them so i am super elated when i got three of their lippies from Clozette Indonesia, two of their newest lip matte shades and also their lip moist.

As usual, i am only featuring one information of the ingredient etc of the product because they all should have pretty similar ingredient with a few tweaks here and there. Other than containing anti aging properties, ARRA Beauty products are also free of parabens, sulfate, alcohol, allergen and beeswax - making them save for sensitive skin as well as those of us with allergens

In the box you will find this sleeve with the lippie inside

The tubes are quite short and small (each tube contains 4.5ml worth of product inside), made of nice quality glossy plastic with ombre style which allows you to see the shade inside easily. They are all very light weight and compact, easy to travel with

The wand is pretty short and the applicator is flat, quite unusual but i find no problem navigating and maneuver it

First up, let's talk about the new shades of the lip mattes :

ARRA Beauty Lip Matte in Soka

Soka is a warm, nude shade with a tinge of coral : 

Soka on my lips, it's slightly darker in real life. It's a sweet nude shade that would look like a MLBB type of shade on deeper skin tone while still highly complimenting fairer skin tones like mine

Soka is a very easy shade to wear, you can wear it on your bare face, with very minimal makeup of with full makeup, it will still look gorgeous. A shade that should be in every woman's posession

I find the formula on Soka and Bungo are slightly different, i think you can see it from the arm swatches too how Soka is slightly thinner in formula. It's still pretty pigmented and i do not feel the need to re-dip my wand to fill in my entire lips, but it is definitely not as pigmented as Bungo.

Both lip mattes has velvety finish, a type of finish that i personally enjoy as they look pretty matte but doesn't feel very dry on the lips. This means they do transfer, but still have superb staying power as i can eat and drink - and i would still have the lip color on. Ofc, very heavy and greasy meal would mean that you have to reapply, but who doesn't wipe their mouth clean after a greasy meal anyway??? I also find them not crusting or bunching so retouching is a breeze.

Both lip mattes are comfortable for long wear and my lips are not dry/hurting by the end of the day, thanks to all those emollient and lip caring formula they contain! Oh yeah, the lip mattes have this bittersweet milk chocolate scent that is pretty announced, i personally enjoy the scent but if you are not a fan of bittersweet chocolate scent then you might wannabe warned beforehand ^^.

ARRA Beauty Lip Matte in Bungo

Bungo is a gorgeous, gorgeous shade - but it is a bold shade so it might not be everybody's cup of tea - but i personally LOVE it! It is a deep fuchsia that will look awesome on both deep and fair skin. It also has a blue undertone that would make your teeth look whiter

I am not much of a pink lipstick lover, but i do love a good fuchsia and i feel Bungo really makes my pale complexion pop in all the right ways

I love to use Bungo both on my full lips for a bolder, more mature look and also in the inner part of my lips for a sweet ombre look

Like i mentioned earlier, the formula on Bungo is thicker and more pigmented than Soka. You only need a little bit and it goes a long long way. The staying power is also even better as it is a darker shade and this one leaves a beautiful tint even after you wipe your lips off. Other than that, the performance is similar to Soka in how comfortable and lip caring it is. Bungo is my personal favorite out of the two new shades although in reality Soka will get a lot more use on day to day basis. 

Then let's also talk about their Lip Moist :

ARRA Beauty Lip Moist only comes in one shade, on the bottle it looks red with gold glitter on it but once applied it's almost clear with just the slightest pink tint in it

On the lips the lip moist is almost like a clear gloss, in this picture i was wearing it on top of a tinted lip balm so it looks more pink

ARRA Beauty Lip Moist is like a hybrid between a lip oil and a lip gloss, it can be used both before or after lipstick as a lip care and gloss. My lips were pretty dry and cracky when i fist start using it and after applying it the whole day my lips are in much better condition so it can definitely be categorized as a lip care product as well.

If you are expecting a full on gloss, i think you might be a bit disappointed as it has a thin and watery formula so it would dry off/get absorbed into your lips after a little while. It is very very comfortable and it has a fresh strawberry scent, i absolutely love wearing it on top of a tint/tinted lip balm on days when i want to look more natural. I would also recommend to use it on top of your lip mattes if you feel like your lips are starting to feel dry, it would soothe and fix your lips pretty much immediately!

I love both the lip mattes and lip moist from ARRA Beauty as i have such positive experience with them, if you are in the market for a comfortable, yummy smelling, lip caring lip creams then i would highly recommend you to check out ARRA Lip mattes, i personally am super interested to try out their other shades as well.
