Unboxing : Althea Massive Haul! (SPONSORED)

Haiiii guyssss!!!!!

I just got back from my fun trip to Penang, Malaysia and been bombarded nonstop with endless events and meetings right away (i need my beauty sleep T.T) so only now i got the chance to sit down and ~~brag~~ share with you my latest, massive haul from Althea!

Yasss, i got a LOT, so so SO SPOILT by Althea i can't even T.T...

First of all, you do know that Althea Indonesia is BACK, yea? I mean, i have shared lots of posts of them since months ago so surely you do know about this amazing news? What you might not know yet is that they have a brand new website : https://in.althea.kr/ !

Althea Indonesia stopped operating for a while due to custom problems but our prayers was answered when they resolved the issues and now we can grab Korean cosmetics that we can't easily access in Indonesia with very pocket friendly prices again - HALLELUJAH! And also since Althea now has their own beauty line, we can finally get our hands on them too!

There is a little but tho, due to Indonesian custom rules, there are a few rules that must be applied and you as a consumer must be aware of since it does affect all of us and how we shop at Althea. Nothing to major or concerning, but it is essential for us to know and follow them.

You can read all about the new rules and restriction here but in short :

1. You can only order max of 8 products per order (honestly, if you want to shop more just wait a day or two then make another order, it's really no big deal as their free shipping starts from IDR 299,000 orders anyway, i'm sure you'll reach IDR 299,000 if you order 8 items!)

2. You can only order maximum of 8 items per category

3. You need to wait for 24 hours before making another purchase

4. You can only order IDR 1,100,000 per order.

Other than that you also need to verify your ID (our KTP), you only need to do this ONCE at check out on your first order. Don't worry about your information leaking, they will store and encrypted these data super carefully and will never be used for any other purposes (other than to follow Indonesian custom rule) or by third party.

Not bad, right?

Other than that, there is only good news : It is possible to COD (Cash on Delivery) now!!! Woohooo, no need to stress about payments anymore if you happen not to have credit card/debit card yet! For COD, your max order cannot surpass IDR 550,000 and only available on certain postal codes. You also can only pay with COD when your previous COD payment has changed to "Complete COD". ^^

Now, are you curious on what i grabbed from Althea???

Ofc i split my order in three :)) i got way too many things!

Let's see them in details hm hm hm :

Prreti Perfect Clean Cleansing Tissue - IDR 19,000 each
My friends raved about this cleansing tissues and since i needed some for traveling, i decided to grab two! It's crazy cheap (only 19k for 30 sheets!!!) and i have used them by now - i love it! A highly recommended product that i would keep on repurchasing for sure!

Plu Scrub Wash in Raspberry Mint - IDR 114,000
Hmmm, raspberry mint sounds sooo yum and i wanna smell yum too :D. I am so extra that even show wash i also have to order from Korea one *flipshair

Missha Perfect Lip & Eye Remover - IDR 52,000
This is just a basic need, you can never go wrong stocking up on makeup removers especially if you wear makeup frequenly like i do! Proper cleansing methods are a must for me so i cannot imagine running out of removers! I have never tried this one from Missha but i do love Missha products and it's so affordable so i decided to give this a try.

Esfolio Aloe Vera Moisture Soothing Gel Mist - IDR 52,000
Another product that i need backups for my backups for *LOL*, facial mist! I use facial mists savaely nowadays, to soothe my skin (it's suddenly so allergic prone :( soothing mists really helps!) and they also work as a makeup setting. I am currently loving the Aloe one from Innisfree and when i saw this super cheap one from Esfolio, i just need to try it as well!

Etude House My Beauty Tool_Lovely Etti_Standing Hair Brush - IDR 73,000
I honestly never thought that i'd ever purchase a hair brush from Althea *LOL*, usually i'm pretty generic when it comes to hair brushes and combs (read : i buy them at supermarkets *LOL*) but i just can't resist this super duper pretty one from Etude House. And the good news? It's awesome too! I actually am thinking of reviewing it hahaha

Etude House Play Color Eye in Peach Farm, Cherry Blossom and In the Cafe - IDR 211,000 each.
Yes, i went gaga for eyeshadow palettes and i love Etude House in general, they always come up with such cute products - their quality's top notch too. I still have my eyes on the other eyeshadow palettes from Play Color Eye series :p.

Coringco Pink Square Dual Cheek - IDR 113,000
I got this to complete my collection (there are only two shades, this one i got in no 1 because i already have the no 2) teehee

Now, another thing that makes Althea super special compared to other online shops is the fact that they have crazy promotions - and it's quite constant. For February they actually gave away free stuffs - all full size and with very good value as well. They had three different free gifts and if you order three times then you can get all three of the freebies (as long as they are still in stock). This is actually the reason why i split my order in 3 *LOLOLOL* (the minimum order was only IDR 300k some more!) you know i am super kiasu one. Unfortunately i missed one freebie T.T but i am still super duper happy with the two that i did get!

Freebie one : Mise-en-Scene Pefect Repair Serum - IDR 110,000
With my heavily bleached hair, i cannot survive without hair serum. This is a very welcome addition to my stock!

Freebie Two : VDL Expert Color Lip Cube EX - IDR 302,000 (it's unfortunately no longer in stock in Althea)
Yes, you read that right, the freebie is worth more than the minimum spending required to be eligible to grab it. Now you see why Althea is my all time #1 fave cosmetic shopping platform?

So yeeea, that's my entire haul! Super duper happy with what i got and ehm... I already got another package on my way :DD! Anything from this haul you want to review? Even if i can't review on the blog i will make sure i will share my thoughts on my Instagram feed/story, just leave your requests below :D.

Lip-Talk 38 : Tony Moly's Delight Tony Tint

beauty

Hallooo semuanya!

Tony Moly's Delight Tony Tint

Delight Tint by Tony Moly in 01 dan 02

Close up untuk packagingnya

Kiri : 01 (Pink) , Kanan : 02 (Red)

Jadi gimana cara pakenya?

Jadi kalo bibir kamu lagi ngga in top condition, jangan lupa pake lip scrub dulu.

Delight Tony Tint in 01 Pink

Delight Tony Tint in 01 Pink

Wearing Delight Tony Tint in 01 Pink

Delight Tony Tint in 02 Red

Delight Tony Tint in 02 Red

Wearing Delight Tony Tint in 02 Red

Light ombre lips using Tony Tint in 02

Jadi buat yang males retouch terus-terusan, Tony Tint ini a must have deh!

Kalo kekurangan? Terus kalo bibir mulai terasa agak kering, pakein lip balm atau lip gloss lagi di atasnya, ini bantu banget untuk menjaga kelembaban bibir at the end of the day jadi bibir tetap sehat dan lembut setelah pake lip tint seharian.

Is it recommended?

Althea Christmas Wish List : Althea Top 10 Products

althea

Helllooo everybody :D!!!

I bet you didn't see this surge of productivity coming, did you? I myself also didn't, but i am glad it's here haha!

Anyway, since Christmas and New Year is coming at a very alarming rate, this is the perfect time to get some nice gifts - be it for your loved ones or yourselves, and if you're a beauty lover like me.. Where else would you want to do your shopping but at Althea Korea? Haha! Yasss, since Althea Indonesia is back, we can now grab all those pretty Korean beauty products with super reasonable prices too (Althea Korea's prices are much MUCH better than the counters okay!).

As a newly appointed Althea Angel, i take it as a personal duty to let you know some of the must have products from Althea Korea (just a very small percentage of drool worthy products available there you know!).

So i present to you, my personal Christmas 2018 Althea Korea Wish List!

I am a makeup junkie, and although i also love skin and body care products, when it comes to wish lists... It'll always be crammed with makeup items for sure so yeah... 90% of the products in this list are makeup items hahaha! And the first three are special Holiday 2018 edition so if you covet them like me, i'm suggesting that you grab them now because they won't be around too long!

1. Laneige Wild at Heart Eye & Face Palette

Laneige Wild at Heart Eye & Face Palette

Look at how gorgeous the palette is!!!

Seriously, Laneige's Holiday 2018 collection makes my heart goes dugum dugum, they're all just so pweettyyyy! I must admit that i don't usually drool over Laneige makeup products because they are a little bit bland and expensive for me, but the holiday collection is very different than their usual neutral style (at least packaging wise) - it looks so cool that i almost don't mind the high price tag!

And so, the second item in my wish list happens to come from the same collection :

2. Laneige Wild at Heart Stained Glass Stick

Laneige Wild at Heart Stained Glass Stick

I dunno, even the name "Glass stick" makes me drool already *LOL*. I've always been a gloss kinda girl (i'd take glossy lips over matte one any day) so i am glad that the glossy lips are making a comeback - a juicy, kissable lips is promised by this delectable product so.. I want it!!!

3. Etude House Tiny Twinkle Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Velvet Mini Kit

Etude House Tiny Twinkle Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Velvet Mini Kit

It contains 10 tiny (1 gr each) lippies, it's too cute beyond words arghhh!

As a lippie addict, i have way too many lipstick than i can ever need. Does that fact stop me from wanting more? OFC NOT! But if i can choose, i much prefer smaller, tiny lippies so i can collect more of them and don't feel as guilty when i abandon them for new ones (because for full size there'd be a LOT more left being abandoned). I don't think i ever finished a whole lipstick in the past 10 years or so *LOL* so these tiny lippies... It's a perfect gift for lippie junkies like me! You get a lot but with acceptable sizes. Plus, aren't they just too cute to be true???

4. Rire Lucent Star Cushion

Rire Lucent Star Cushion

OMOOOO just look at this!!! How can i not go weak on the knees just looking at them, i ask you???

It truly is love at the first sight, i tell you. This Rire cushion's packaging is everything i love and more. It's pink, sparkly and glittery... If i am a makeup item, i would be this *LOLOLOL*. So yeah, i was about to get it without even knowing whatever the product is, purely for the packaging. And FYI, i am not even a fan of cushion. But when i finally took the time to check out what's inside :

And realized that it's a 3 in 1 cushion foundation, lip and cheek pact

Well. It's taken it to a whole another level. I MUST HAVE THIS!

5. Peripera Mini-mini Peppy's Carrier

Peripera Mini-Mini Peppy's Carrier

I never knew that i needed a tiny suitcase filled with mini makeup inside until i saw this!

Now this product is something that i have been eyeing for the longest time. I've seen the actual product while i was in Korea, i forced myself not to buy it because i have way too many makeups already, but it's been haunting me ever since. Anyway, it is filled with 5 of Peripera's best selling products so you know everything inside's good!

6. Coringco Marine Blue Makeup Brush Set

Coringco Marine Blue Makeup Brush Set

The only non makeup item in this wish list, it's a set of 6 makeup brushes from Coringco at a very affordable price. As a makeup junkie, i strangely don't have a lot of makeup brushes - and i am too stingy to splurge on them so this super value for money set is the perfect match!

7. Coringco Pink Square Dual Cheek

Coringco Pink Square Dual Cheek

The second Coringco product that's making it to my list. I recently got their Pink Square Dual Highlighter (also from Althea, ofc!) and now i really REALLY want their blusher especially this one in No 2 that consisted of the shades #Red Cinnamon and #Rose Cinnamon , red blushers are very pretty but quite rare and this one from Coringco has receives praises from my friend Chelshea so i really want to get my hands on them!

8. Etude House Play Color - Juice Bar

Etude House Play Color Eyes Juice Bar

Do you know that my fave Korean beauty brand is Etude House? I know, i am way too old to use Etude House but i can't help it. Their products are just so cute, so affordable yet high in quality. I just can't get over them! I always love how innovative and creative they are with their newest collections (i have yet to find Etude House's collection that i am not interested in) and even though Korean beauty are not known to have very strong eyeshadows, i always like Etude House's eyeshadow palettes! This one in Juice Bar contains the cutest, most wearable shades, it would be perfect to tow for travels!

9. Missha Wish Stone Tint Velvet

Missha Wish Stone Tint Velvet

This is another product that i have been eyeing for a while and since it's very affordable (i think it's the cheapest product in this list), i see no reason for not picking it up soon. I think it's obvious why i want it, the packaging is just too cute to pass on - and i've seen it in person, it's just as cute as the picture so... Yeah, if you are a sucker for cute packaging like me, you're gonna need this!

10. Touch in Sol Metallist Liquid & Glitter Eyeshadow Duo

Touch in Sol Metallist Liquid & Glitter Shadow Duo

I am actually not a fan of liquid eyeshadow (or highlighter), but i love how eye shadow glitters that comes in this form looks and i am willing to give it a go. This one from Touch in Sol (a brand that i've never tried before hence making it even more attractive to me as i love trying new brands!) looks amazing in the pictures so i'd love to try it and see if it's really that good in real life!

And that's it, my Top 10 Althea products wish list for this holiday! I can go on and on but i don't want to keep you here all day obviously *LOL*. What about you? What are in you K-beauty wishlist? Did anything from this list make it into yours as well? Please let me know in the comment section below!

South Korea Winter Trip : Day 9 & 10 (Christmas Eve, Going Home)

airport

Heyllow!!!

Today's Baby Boy's 8th birthday! Definitely not a baby anymore, but he will always be my baby! We're having a small celebration on Sunday (will definitely blog about it!) which sort of my DIY project (well. Kinda half-hearted since i am such a lazy ass hahaha) so today we're keeping it very casual, we just took him to the movie (watched Pixels-it's quite good!) and gave him his pressie (a new, smaller tablet because his old one's all battered and he smacked his face hard on the bigger, heavier model quite a few times-hard enough to hurt himself!).

Anyway, i'm finally round up to wrap my South Korea winter trip post series *cry of joy* *then i remember having Singapore/Malaysia trip to write* *resume sulking*, this is the last post for that trip because we didn't actually do anything much on the last two days so there's really no point in writing them in two separate post! We celebrated Christmas Eve in the last night!

The whole gang in Au and MT's hotel room haha

We mostly went shopping and strolling on the 9th day, contemplated on extending our trip again (i guess 10 days in South Korea's not enough! Better make it 2 weeks next time haha) but it was a bit hard (and might be super expensive) to so since we're actually already extended our stay so in the end we gave up and tried to make the most of that last full day.

First imma bombard you with pictures of some Korean snacks we had in the morning. No idea what they're called... I don't even remember how they tasted (obvi not very good or i'd remember hahaha)...

Some cookie looking thingy with chewy, mochi-like filling

Errrr...

Selfie number 1

Oh! I think this was a macaron!

What is this? Mochi i think...

Selfie number two while hunny fed me like his pet WTF

We got slightly lost trying to find the duty free store we went to with the tour group earlier in the trip (we didn't manage to find it *LOL*, went to another duty free instead) and found this in the underground

Healthy pomegranate juice

But we're not a fan hehe, taste a bit bitter and very sour!

Wah, Iron Man!

I did some shopping at the duty free mall (just got some Tony Moly nail polishes and the Rebecca Minkoff bag), it was quite fast because i'm not exactly interested in what duty free malls have to offer (i mean, i'd only buy one or two branded bags, that hardly takes all day! Plus most of the cosmetics come in bulk packaging, which i so do not want coz i ain't selling'em!) so we ended up hunting for a place to eat!

Settled for Rice Rice Italiano (hm. Wonder why they'd call an Italian restaurant Rice. But i don't think it's really a Italian restaurant la, maybe more like a fusion one)

Hunny has so much more hair now

The prices are not so bad (especially compared to another restaurant next door which average price was KRW 38.000 #stingy)

The place's very cozy

#selfie with Baby Boy

Since it was a day before Christmas and we plan to have a little celebration (although i don't celebrate Christmas-my Church's rules) so i put on more makeup than my usual lazy-holiday-makeup

The clear soup is pretty nice, but it tastes very Asian hahaha

The fried rice and steak combo, very nice actually! I would recommend this restaurant if you're sick of the usual Korean food and crave for some meat for an affordable price

Let's nom!

I don't remember what hunny's having, but... it looks like fried rice and hamburger combo

Baby Boy's had a slight Dunkin' Donut's obsession while we were there

LOL

Errrr. We actually accidentally left him in Dunkin' Donut. He was already walking behind me, then i got distracted and didn't realize that he *somehow* sat back down. Quickly noticed him missing lah after a few metres *LOL*, actually ascending with elevator already so had to go back and find him. He was just sitting around unfussed -____-

We found our way back to Myeongdong because i still want to buy some last minute cosmetics.

Au purchasing some bbopgi (we clearly watch too much Running Man)

It's cute and all, but i really cannot get used to the bitter-sweet taste!

We were supposed to grab a fancy (ish) dinner at some cafe to celebrate Christmas Eve (seriously, any excuse for a celebration) but then MT went missing! OMG! We were just going to the toilet and somehow we couldn't find him! It was totally chaotic! CL, KC and hunny went searching for him frantically while Au, Baby Boy and i waited around the toilet where he went missing in case he went back. We got so tired of waiting that we sat in the stairs (then i belatedly remembered that Korean spits on the floor WTF FOL) alongside some beggars and sellers...

We seriously couldn't find him (or contact him) so we decided that he might already went back to the hotel (because he's 14 and he know the way. It's not like he's 8 like Baby Boy)-and sure enough... There he was in his room -____-. It was really annoying grrrrr.

Anyhoo, since we're already back at our hotel's area (while the cafes were mostly at the Myeondong area we already left and so not going to go back to just for a meal) the nice dinner plan went kaput and we ended up having some Korean BBQ instead (coz we're already going back the next day, so might as well have our fill right!).

Pssssttt. Do you see that guy sitting down wearing a hat and black sweater? He is HOT. LOL. Very handsome leh, and very nice body too. Not Korean FYI, he was speaking in Chinese. Or was it English.

It was very full so we had to sit in separate tables

Chef Hunny at work hahaha

Nom nom nom

CL really wanted a cute cake (just because) to celebrate Christmas Eve :

And shared some soju. Was it soju? I think it was ume soju

Our cute Christmas cake

Impromptu photo shoot

They were flashing their teeth to prompt the smile recognition feat in the camera hahaha

Blowing da candles *OMG my face!*

Merry Christmas!!! *errr. Yes, 7 months too late*

Then we had some cake and soju then went back to our rooms to pack and sleep hahaha.

The next morning we roamed the street around our hotel for some last minute shopping (Olive Young i love you T.T) and grabbed some breakfast. Hunny insisted on trying out the smaller, more authentic Korean eatery.

It was so authentic the ahjumma didn't speak a word of English and all the writings were in Hangul-and we had to tick our orders in the order form *LOLOLOL*, hunny ended up going outside to look at the pictures and compared the characters one by one to the form hahahaha

This family on the table beside us were Singaporean. I didn't mean to eavesdrop lah, they were directly beside us (like, a few cm away) so i couldn't help but hear everything they said hahaha

Baby Boy was always happy in Korea. Except when he's being scolded for not being a good older brother to JD *LOL*

Banchan

Fried rice

Gyoza? Hunny had bibimbap again i think so i didn't bother snapping any pic

Soon it was time to make our way to the airport via Seoul Station!

Snapping some last pictures of Seoul before saying goodbye (and hopefully, see you again)

After checking in and dropping our stuffs (so nice leh checking in and going through immigration in Seoul Station, no need to queue one! Very deserted hahaha) we hopped in the express train

CL always has her snacks ready hahaha

Train selfie!

Nom nom!

In no time we arrived at Incheon International Airport. It's so huge! They even had an indoor ice rink @___@.

Love the design!

In other countries i've been to, the illustration was mostly just pictures so this is very interesting to me

Do you see what i'm seeing?

WHAT IS THAT? LOLOLOL. Bomb, i am sure, but why in the undies???

KC was super BLUR that day, after we walked so far away he suddenly said "Where's my bag?" WHERE INDEED! Hayahhh, he left it in the express train lahhh zzzz. He claimed that his brain was frozen because it wasn't used to the super cold weather LOL. Anyway, the bag was safely kept by the attendant so no harm done other than he and CL had to walk so far away back and forth. But! He's not over with his blur-ness yet! Read on!

We belatedly remembered that we ordered some kimchi from the first day so we rushed to find them. Turn out that they literally just put it in a trolley along with others' orders!!! You just need to find the box with your name on it. Imagine if it's in Indonesia... All boxes will be gone within minutes...

Then we rushed in to get some of the stuffs we brought in duty free mall (because in Korea, if you buy international branded stuffs, you have to pick up your item at the airport. Actually it's the same if you're shopping at Lotte Mall's duty free in Jakarta), get changed (because the airport's very warm. And our next destination's steamy Jakarta, we'd die if we didn't take off our long johns!) and stumbled into this :

Wogh, some traditional "wedding procession"/royal march or something

Then we got the chance to snap some pics with these peeps in traditional costumes (what to call them? Actors ah?)

No idea what they're doing hehe, but from they way they dress... Those are supposed to be the King and Queen?

I don't normally take pictures with this kind of thingy (stumbled into a very cute bunny costumed person in Singapore but i was super embarrassed to take pictures with it, i'm scared of rejection la i think) but... This girl was the prettiest and somehow nobody wanted to take a pic with her... So i did loh hahaha

Even the usually-always-refuse Hunny also wan

Then i went on a full biased mummy mode

One more

Grabbed some donuts just because i liked the heart shape hahahaha

Fake foods need to look so appealing meh?

The buns looked totally believable

The said heart-shaped donut

About KC's blur-ness... We were waiting at the gate all relaxed and early, suddenly there was a ground staff making a round holding KC's name in a piece of paper while calling out his name, we freaked lah! Why why why??? Turned out he LOST HIS FREAKING PASSPORT. In the airport (coz obvi he couldn't have entered the waiting area otherwise), a few minutes before boarding time!!!!

ARGHHHHHH. We were so freaked outtttt! I was pulling an Elaine (Elaine is my cousin L's daughter and she likes to squeeze her hands together whenever she's anxious-which is almost always LOLOLOL, so cute) and was in the verge of tears, reciting a prayer and projecting positive thoughts all the way WTH. None of us were allowed to board the plane because our tickets are group tickets -___- but THANK GOD, like 10-15 minutes later the staffs informed us that the passport's found. In the toilet -____-.

Thanks to KC the flight was 15 minutes or so delayed and we boarded the plane hastily while avoiding people's judging stares *LOLOLOL*. WHY HE'S SO BLUR THAT DAY I HAVE NO IDEA LAH!

But everything went smoothly afterwards.

That's a face of a super relieved person la hahaha, and KC looking weary after dodging two bullets WTH

Us also very gleeful that we weren't thrown out or left by the plane

Last one hehehe

That marked the end of our super fun, totally memorable South Korea winter trip! What an adventure! I cannot wait to hop on another one. December... come sooner!
