I just got back from my fun trip to Penang, Malaysia and been bombarded nonstop with endless events and meetings right away (i need my beauty sleep T.T) so only now i got the chance to sit down and ~~brag~~ share with you my latest, massive haul from Althea!

Yasss, i got a LOT, so so SO SPOILT by Althea i can't even T.T...

First of all, you do know that Althea Indonesia is BACK, yea? I mean, i have shared lots of posts of them since months ago so surely you do know about this amazing news? What you might not know yet is that they have a brand new website : https://in.althea.kr/ !

Althea Indonesia stopped operating for a while due to custom problems but our prayers was answered when they resolved the issues and now we can grab Korean cosmetics that we can't easily access in Indonesia with very pocket friendly prices again - HALLELUJAH! And also since Althea now has their own beauty line, we can finally get our hands on them too!

There is a little but tho, due to Indonesian custom rules, there are a few rules that must be applied and you as a consumer must be aware of since it does affect all of us and how we shop at Althea. Nothing to major or concerning, but it is essential for us to know and follow them.

You can read all about the new rules and restriction here but in short :

1. You can only order max of 8 products per order (honestly, if you want to shop more just wait a day or two then make another order, it's really no big deal as their free shipping starts from IDR 299,000 orders anyway, i'm sure you'll reach IDR 299,000 if you order 8 items!)

2. You can only order maximum of 8 items per category

3. You need to wait for 24 hours before making another purchase

4. You can only order IDR 1,100,000 per order.

Other than that you also need to verify your ID (our KTP), you only need to do this ONCE at check out on your first order. Don't worry about your information leaking, they will store and encrypted these data super carefully and will never be used for any other purposes (other than to follow Indonesian custom rule) or by third party.

Other than that, there is only good news : It is possible to COD (Cash on Delivery) now!!! Woohooo, no need to stress about payments anymore if you happen not to have credit card/debit card yet! For COD, your max order cannot surpass IDR 550,000 and only available on certain postal codes. You also can only pay with COD when your previous COD payment has changed to "Complete COD". ^^

My friends raved about this cleansing tissues and since i needed some for traveling, i decided to grab two! It's crazy cheap (only 19k for 30 sheets!!!) and i have used them by now - i love it! A highly recommended product that i would keep on repurchasing for sure!

Hmmm, raspberry mint sounds sooo yum and i wanna smell yum too :D. I am so extra that even show wash i also have to order from Korea one *flipshair

Missha Perfect Lip & Eye Remover - IDR 52,000
This is just a basic need, you can never go wrong stocking up on makeup removers especially if you wear makeup frequenly like i do! Proper cleansing methods are a must for me so i cannot imagine running out of removers! I have never tried this one from Missha but i do love Missha products and it's so affordable so i decided to give this a try.

Esfolio Aloe Vera Moisture Soothing Gel Mist - IDR 52,000
Another product that i need backups for my backups for *LOL*, facial mist! I use facial mists savaely nowadays, to soothe my skin (it's suddenly so allergic prone :( soothing mists really helps!) and they also work as a makeup setting. I am currently loving the Aloe one from Innisfree and when i saw this super cheap one from Esfolio, i just need to try it as well!

I honestly never thought that i'd ever purchase a hair brush from Althea *LOL*, usually i'm pretty generic when it comes to hair brushes and combs (read : i buy them at supermarkets *LOL*) but i just can't resist this super duper pretty one from Etude House. And the good news? It's awesome too! I actually am thinking of reviewing it hahaha

Now, another thing that makes Althea super special compared to other online shops is the fact that they have crazy promotions - and it's quite constant. This is actually the reason why i split my order in 3 *LOLOLOL* (the minimum order was only IDR 300k some more!) you know i am super kiasu one. MUC : Blooming Spring with Beauty Korea (2nd Look)

Hi guys!

So... I don't know if recreating looks are addictive or i am simply OCD, but i decided to do another K-Pop inspired look *LOL*.

Bolder and edgier this time round

The focus of this look is obviously the eye makeup (Btw, did you notice my new colorful streaks? I had them done yesterday! It's not as noticeable as i hoped it would be :(... Tell ya more about it in another post okay!)

Of course, i made this look still for The Journey and Beauty Korea's Make Up Challenge!

Like i said, i have another look that i wanted to do and i actually like this look better than the first one (see my first look here) coz it's more ME haha, here's the inspiration :

Again, i have absolutely NO idea who this girl is, Katherine said it might be BoA (i actually know BoA! But i used to dislike her when she first appeared because i felt like she was trying to imitate Utada Hikaru, whom i really love! Sorry, BoA lovers!) but she wasn't sure. Please correct me if you know who this girl really is!

I don't think the end result looks exactly the same, but i think it looks closer than the first look i did *LOL*. This time round i even bothered to put on falsies you know...

Anyway, here's a little explanation about the makeup steps, i used mainly the same items i did for my first look *LOL*, but i will mention those different ones that i used.

As usual, start with clean, completely bare face :D (zombie alert...)

It's this time of the month again so i have two tiny little spots under my chin *sigh*, being the little miss paranoid that i am, i would only use Acne preventing/care base during these hormonal times! I wore Etude House AC Clinic Daily Sun BB, set with the same Essence powder (and the same Clinique and DHC concealers).

Then i applied e.l.f eye primer followed by the golden color in Collection Work the Color Trio (5, Champagne Fizz). I know the inspiration photo's eye shadow is browner (or is it a bit bronze?) but i was in a hurry and just grabbed the closest color i saw...I wanted the eye shadow color to be very neutral and not too bold anyway.

The most important part : BOLD eyeliner with long flick to the side. I do wear this kind of eye make up all the time so i had no problem with it. And please do excuse my crazy brow, i am growing them (because thin brows are so last decade) and plan to get then shaped again in Brow House next month! Oh yeah, i used Maybelline Eyestudio Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner in Black

Then i color my eyebrow with Face Shop's eyebrow mascara. Put on dramatic, super long falsies (because the inspiration photo also wear very dramatic lashes...) that i bought for IDR 6000 or something in Naughty hehe. Then lined my water line with the black eye shadow from Collection Work the Color Trio (3, Smoke Screen) add Collection Glam Crystal Eye Liner in Glitz underneath for the bling2 effect like the inspiration pic (it's not as bling and the glitter is not as chunky but it's the closest thing i have!)

I actually planned to even wear lower falsies but i was running really late so i have to skip it >.< (i know, i am always running late. Whatevs)

Added light blush to put some color on my face. The inspiration seems to be wearing a more neutral (brownish) blush on, but i find that kind of color to be very muddy and makes me look not refreshed >.< so i just wore my usual ZA blush on lightly

End result with light plummy lipstick (i wore a Revlon lipstick dabbed lightly and used as a lip tint). The inspiration's lip color seems to be brownish plummy to me, but i don't really have that kind of color in my collection... Is this a reason for me to lippie-shopping again???

As usual, i add Esprique Shine Face Powder's white part on my nose to create the illusion of a higher nose bridge...

I don't usually like to post two of exactly the same kind of posts back to back (coz i'm OCD, of course) but i have no choice because the MUC ends today (it's passed midnight so it's the 31st already. Last day! If you want to join, this is your last chance!)!

I know i said i don't think i could make another look in time, but i ended up going out for dinner with #Undecided and the hubbies earlier and the nanny's back so i have more time to do nonsense :D... I don't really want to make another post to show you my OOTD, so i'm just going to slip it here :D!

OOTD... Black Butterfly Mini Dress : Online, Bag : Bonia (hand-me-down from my momma), Hot Pink Velvet Jelly Shoes : Debenham (UGH that menstrual bump!)

This black butterfly mini dress is very comfy and pretty, but unfortunately the connecting ruffles at the sides made me look very wide! Zzzz... I'm going to wear an obi to give the dress some shape next time i'm wearing it!

But i still love it anyway...

The dress' even more special because of the brocade detailing on the back (and a little bit on the shoulders at the front)

NOTD (matches my shoes :D!) Ciate Mini in Candy Cane (expect a review in a... slightly distant future LOL, coz i have plenty of other nail polishes to review first!)

If you're Indonesian, it's gotta be a weird week for you. Tuesday and Thursday were public holidays in Indonesia, so we went to school/work once every two days! LOL. And now it's weekend again! So anyway, have a great weekend everybody!

MUC : Blooming Spring with Beauty Korea

Hiiii!

It's been awhile since the last time i joined a Make Up Challenge, i usually have a specific reason on why i would join an MUC (why? I'm just too lazy to be bothered to most of the time >.<), usually because i really like the theme. However this MUC hosted by my fellow blogger, Winda, actually has a theme that i would normally run a hundred miles from *LOL*. The challenge is to recreate a K-Pop (*gasp!!!* *faints*) make up. I finally decided to join this challenge (aside from the fact that i really am not a K-Pop fan) because i was personally invited by Winda and also because i think it's about time that i at least challenge myself to do something outside my comfort zone! This MUC is hosted by Beauty Korea, as much as i'm not into K-Pop, you should also know that i have an undying love for Korean cosmetics!

I was really stressed out because my knowledge to K-Pop's limited to those who frequently guests in Running Man *LOL* and because the time frame's a bit short (i mean since i know about the MUC to the closing date) so i decided to find the simplest, easiest look i could find (not that i nailed it anyway, LOL!). I Googled for "K-Pop Makeup" and after staring at seemingly endless pictures of K-Pop girls and getting dizzy, i found this picture :

I had absolutely no idea who this girl is, so as i knew Katherine is into Korean thingy, i sent her this picture and she told me that it's Hyuna from 4Minutes. Now, i thought the look was easy enough to apply, very peachy cheeks and lips, soft and natural eye make up, glowy face (i also think that this look is so spring-y, therefore matches perfectly with the theme "Blooming Spring"!)... NOT. LOL. I was having a hard time making the GLOW shows in pictures, and even though my blush on was already really thick in real life, it's looks very soft and pale in the pictures *cries*.

Now, i already know myself that i didn't nail the look *LOL*, increased furthermore by the fact that our features are so different (different face shape, different eyes, nose and lips shape, basically different everything hahahaha) *LOL*, but i did my best :p.

End result :p, don't be too harsh on me!

It's so hard to bring out glows in pale skin, especially when you don't even have the appropriate tools (i prefer matte makeups in my everyday life)

Anyway, please do not expect me to copy Hyuna's pose as well, i don't pose well *LOL*, i'd simply look crazy if i try too hard :p. Even though i don't think the look i re-create looks anything like the inspiration pic, i personally still thinks the result's nice enough *shameless* LOL. Softer and more calm than my normal makeup (i love bold eyeliner and gyaru eye makeup with white pearlescent liner in the inner part of my eyes to make my eyes appear as round as possible).

I decided to record the step by step of creating (or rather, recreating) this look, just in case there's any of you who just began to wear makeup and want a simple (and super easy) tutorial for a natural, peachy, spring appropriate look?

Prep : cleanse your face thoroughly, put on toner+moisturizer+sunscreen (but honestly i only used toner :p) and get ready for your base. I am completely bare faced in this picture, i think my dark circle's much better ever since we had that Eye Revitalizing Peeling in Miracle Clinic!

Step one is base, in the picture above i was holding my weapons (but i have yet to apply them) : Vaseline Petroleum Jelly to prep my lips and The Skin Food Lemon Foundation (which i'm desperate to finish haha). I have only a few base make ups that i am currently using and i chose this Lemon Foundation because it's one of the least mattifying base i have, as you can see from the "inspiration" picture, the goal is very glowy, flawless skin!

After light foundation and Vaseline (my skin looks immediately more even), getting ready for step two

Conceal any imperfection. In my case it's my dark under eye areas and a few old hormonal spot scars on my chin. I'm using my usual Clinique All About Eyes Concealer (01) and DHC Medicated Acne Care Concealer.

After concealer. I always feel more human as soon as i keep my dark circles under control *LOL*

Step three is using cream peach colored blush on and cream highlighter (i am actually still struggling to learn how to use cream highlighters. If i apply it over my powder it'll be cakey and disgusting, but if i apply it before powder then the glow will be muted! Not applying powder at all is NOT an option, my make up would melt within 30 minutes max since my skin's super oily! Anyone has any suggestion?). I applied the highlighter as crazily as i dare (i am not used to glowy makeups :p) on my brow bone, nose bridge, cheek bones, chin, even the inner side of my cheeks (coz the "inspiration" has very glowy cheeks!). I am using Collection Blush & Highlight Cream Duo in Peaches and Cream.

Sadly, the highlighter hardly showed in my pale skin *LOL*. It's a lot glowier in real life but super hard to catch on camera! GRRRR

Hmph, you can only see the highlighter on my nose, can't you? LOL

Step four is skip-able for people with dry skin, but it's totally impossible to skip for me-that is to set the base and cream make up with powder. I used my current favorite pressed powder, Essence Mattifying Compact Powder, avoiding the highlighted area. I set the highlighted area with Esprique Precious Double Shine Face Powder, this powder is very shimmery so it didn't completely killed the glow, but i did mute it a bit.

Step five and six would be explained together because... I forgot to take pictures of the fifth step :p. Step five is to do your eyebrows. In my case, my eyebrows are really thick already (and i really am incapable of doing anything to them anyway, i cannot for the life of me draw or reshape my eyebrows!) so all i did was color them with Face Shop Color My Eye Brow (02 Light Brown) to match my hair.

Step six is eye make up. The inspiration picture sports a very light eye make up, almost bare. I couldn't detect if the girl was using eyeliner on her eyelids (i think she did, very lightly) but i cannot live without my eyeliners *dramatic* so i added a little twist on my own to suit my own face better *LOL*. I applied e.l.f eye primer followed with nude colored (slightly shimmery) eye shadow from an old Revlon eye shadow duo. Then i lined my eyes lighter than i normally did (not easy for me, okay *LOL*, i love my eye liner thick and dramatic!!!) using Mai Doll Liquid Eyeliner in Brown (this is my first brown eyeliner, i used to fear i won't like brown eyeliners since i love my black eyeliners so much but it's not bad, dark enough to still be in my comfort zone but not super dark so it's softened up my make up-in a good way).

After eye primer+light eye shadow+eyeliner. Seventh step is mascara! Hyuna's eyelashes looked very natural but luscious, i probably should've worn a falsies but... I didn't have time hahaha

I wore Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara

Lots of people are crazy over this mascara, it's a pretty nice mascara but sadly isn't my cup of tea. I will review it sometime in the future :p. I also lined my waterline lightly (the inspiration pic also wore a very light liner on her waterline) using a brown eye shadow.

Step eight is to set the cream blush on using a peachy powder blush on. I am using my old and well loved Etude blush on hahaha. IRL i looked super peachy already, but why in the pictures i looked a bit pale still *hiks*. I couldn't load any more blush on since i was actually going out afterward, i don't want to look like a crazy lady!

Final step is to apply light peachy lip color! Hyuna's lip color's very soft and juicy, that's why i prepped my lips with Vaseline earlier. I find Vaseline super greasy texture's good to dilute lip colors if you don't want a super pigmented lip color.

Final look after lip color. I used Collection Lock & Hold Lipgloss in Break Dance

And that's it! Super simple and easy. It might not seem like it in the pictures, but my face was actually super glowy and dewy looking, it's definitely not something i am used to! I had to blot my face a lot since my skin became super greasy super fast *LOL*, but i actually kinda like the whole result.

My first ever attempt to copy Korean make up style *LOL*, i'm so sorry it didn't look anything like the inspiration pictures, but i tried! I actually have another (very different) style i'd love to try to recreate, but since the deadline's so close already.... I don't think i'm gonna make it :(.
